Hi all,
I've come to the conclusion that I'm not experienced enough to inject consistently yet. Sometimes it works amazingly well, other times not.
Recently I had a "big date" and the shot just didn't work. It seemed to have a bit of an effect for 5-10 minutes, then it was over. Since I've read you can't inject twice on the same day, I left it at that, but the night was a major disappointment (I guess everybody here can relate ).
So my question is this: if the first shot simply doesn't work, can I try again?
Injecting a second time in case the first doesn't work?
Re: Injecting a second time in case the first doesn't work?
I have without any problems.

Do you have any idea why the first one didn't work? I'm assuming it usually works for you right? Why did it only have affect for 5-10 minutes? If you missed the injection site completely it wouldn't work as all I'm sure. If you was to do this, just please be careful as this is how problems occur. Pedi10 has done it and he was fine, so he probably knows more than me, but I just know there's a reason why they don't want you to inject more than once in 24 hours or 3 times a week.

I did not inject a second time when I messed up. I think it unwise.
What I did was make sure the needle was in the right place before I injected.
If you get any resistance at all to you depressing on the string, you’re not in the right spot. The spongy tissue you are injecting into is not going to be reluctant to suck up that little but if fluid in the string. If you are in meat, muscle. Fascia, the tunica, or in-between layers you will have to put a little force on plunger. In the corpora it’s not taking the medication in a vacuum, but by comparison that’s what it seems like.
Take your time. Do it right the first time and thus won’t be an issue. You know the old carpentry saying about @measure twice and cut once?” Thus is similar, if necessary jab twice and inject once.

yes absolutely all the time. you will want to switch sides if possible.
additionally to avoid scar tissue formation i'd recommend using a vacuum pump on days you don't inject or before injecting.

Wow, there is so much information here I haven’t heard before! Thank you everyone for contributing.
I now feel even less qualified than before about proper injection methods.
Is there a (definitive) guide to injecting trimix somewhere? Hopefully something that covers hitting the right spot, timing (fast or slow), correct needle length (somebody mentioned it depends on penis size), the right angle, etc etc - I’ve seen a few videos, but they all make it seem so easy and basically just repeat the same 2-3 tips.

Manima: Good photo and all good advice from the guys here. Your "definitive guide" to injecting is in this topic "Injections," but spread out over the past years and from many guys. We all learned from each other. Take some time to go into past posts (search for mine; they're the best ).
Practice solo before any more big dates! Before I was ready to "go live," I spent three or four weeks injecting alone 2-3 times a week.
Post again or PM me if I can help.
