Wound looks okay? Surgery plus three days

Postby joho1984 » Sat Aug 17, 2024 3:48 pm

Hi Gang, I’m three days post surgery and have just flown home. For the fellows that have had this surgery, does this wound look okay?

I changed the dressing this evening and there was a little blood but spotting rather than anything else. I’m hoping this was just friction from a long journey. No pain at the wound site, though my scrotum is still vv swollen and generally painful. Amazed that no bruising.

I was deflated to fly home but my surgeon is of the ‘get cycling early’ school of sadism. But also told me to even just put a couple of pumps in then deflate a little later, starting now. Train hard fight easy I guess.

Will do a more expansive journal in due course but welcome any informed insight on the wound.

I only had the cross cut for my scrotal incision. Honestly I didn't look at it very much. What I can tell you is it felt just like yours looks. Kind of bunched up & lumpy. I did have either a small puss ball or a stitch that I squeezed out a few weeks in. After 6 weeks you couldn't hardly find it. Its amazing how well scrotal skin heals.

I'd say to not worry. I think you're within the range of normal.

I had a Rigicon removed and replaced about 10 weeks ago looked pretty much like that ... had a place that was like a knot of skin it appears to have faded over times ...

Welcome to bionic!

Your wound looks completely normal while healing, you should keep it dry, the stitches will start to resolve after day 9.
No worry !

Cheers

Thanks Gt1956, I had some webbing reduction too which I think explains the slightly cruciform incision. Thank you

Thanks Dan! I just have the normal paranoia about infection. Your video is great by the way! Looks almost effortless pumping. This is good to see; although I don’t have to cycle just yet, because I travelled after surgery doctor inflated me but is encouraging me to put in a couple of pumps every day then release. The bulb is still very hard and it’s resulted in some very local bruising but I think that’s normal?

Also, does the ‘pop’ always occur on the first squeeze? I do my couple of pumps. When I deactivate I get the vibration. But when I pumped this morning no ‘pop’?

I can’t do my full bone pressed length because of swelling but at two pumps and pressing back the fat it’s already not too far off so feeling optimistic. I wonder, since I think we have the same implant, how many pumps before you max out?

Take care all.

The bulb will need some weeks until it becomes softer. You'll need some time to find a good way to pump and there are plenty of instructions here on FT.

How I am doing it: you pump to inflate the implant, have some fun with my girl (or like in your case for cycling) and than you deflate to flacid.
now you pump just one pump, so the valve opens and you hear the "pop" and you are ready to pump next time.
There are some instructions for it somewhere, but can't remember where.

"how many pumps" ?
very individual and depends on the force you apply to the pump. I prefer strng pumps in the starting (around 40 pumps) so you have like 70% which is enough for oral sex and even for penetration. You can than, as it's shown in the video getting some like 20-30 micro pumps to get it to 90% an the bulb is becoming very hard to inflate.

After some time you'll find your best way and enjoy sex!

Cheers

Did the Rigicon fail? If so, after how long? What did you replace it with?
