Hey, tx, more power to you. Maybe my "tone" was off. I was not criticizing you at all. It's me; I don't get it. But if that works for you, then I salute you!
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

My wife is totally aware of my Implant. Matter of fact, she loves it. She thinks it's great to fuck a $89,000 dick. She brags about it. She says, "Of all the pussi you have had throughout you life, She bets I have never had a pussi that cost that much. And she is correct.
72, AMS 700 LGX. Married to an Angel. Discovered ED at 67. Path = Diabetic, Supplements, Pills, Needle, Pump, and finally AMS 700 (2-8-24).
Re: Is your wife/partner aware of your implant ?
My wife is fully aware as she took me both times to the hospital for the surgery and was totally in the loop the whole way. She didn't go with me to the Drs visits, but was there for the surgeries and the Dr did inform her if things right after the surgeries.
AMS 700 CX 21cm x 12mm with 1.5cm RTE, MS pump, and Conceal Reservoir. Implanted on 4-12-2023 removed and replaced 6-22-23 with the same, 1st implant surgery had pinhole leak in left cylinder, second failure tubing at connector

I haven’t deceived Mrs. TxAg in any way, shape, or form. She was a real trooper for 35 years +/- with the ED battle.
I told her I was having the ED surgically corrected and sent her on her way to visit relatives during the holiday so she missed the worst of the bruising.
She knows the problem is solved.
Can you give me a reason why I should go into the technical details of the implant? If I get a revision someday she’s not going to be doing the surgery.
She may know it’s an implant. She’s not dumb. Masters degree. Plus she was smart enough to pick me as her husband.
But where’s the harm in me allowing her to think she, rather than a pump or reservoir, is the reason I’m hard and throbbing and dying to be inside of her?
I used to joke my wife was bisexual. If I wanted sex I had to “bi” some flowers, candy, or get her a little gift. The bottom line is my wife is a lot more of a romantic than I am. She’s into a candlelit bath with the two of us, flower petals, candles, champagne. I’d be completely happy disrobing and crawling into a sleeping bag in back of my pickup.
I’m not sure what, exactly, she knows or doesn’t know. Suffice it to say I’m light years better off not dwelling on the fact that my erections are hydraulically induced rather than the fact she gets me horny as hell (although after 40 years she still does).
I love this for you!
30 y/o. 10+ years of ED. Implanted Titan 20 cm + 1cm RTE 8/13/2024.

As someone who is planning on being implanted in the near future I'm curious how this works. It seems like it would take some crazy skill to be able to have sex with your wife for years without her ever seeing you inflate. For example, if she is preparing a romantic candlelit bath are you pumping (and spontaneously getting hard) prior to getting in the bath and just remaining hard the entire time?

I think that you're assuming that pumping is some big production. Its not "ok honey, wait 10 minutes while I squeeze my nut sack".
I'm constantly amazed at men that claim how many pumps it takes to get hard. My CX is almost ready at 10 pumps. At around 13 or 14 I can't get full pumps in. Another 3-5 partials & I'm pretty much maxed out. Learning how to efficiently pump is the key to fewer pumps to max inflation.
Per my signature line. I have 21cm of implant. No RTE's. So all that 21cm (minus the front & rear ends) needs to be inflated.
During the course of foreplay, it is fantastically easy to casually reach down & give yourself 2- 4 pumps. Kiss, hug roll around & repeat some pumps. Pre ED it wasn't uncommon to move stuff around to get comfortable. Only now that adjusting includes a few pumps.
Runaway11, are you telling us that you used to get totally hard prior to sex without having to adjust your dicks position? It really is easy to pump during foreplay. I only use my thumb & forefinger. The pumps don't need to be done all at once either. Actually, I think its better to inflate the way that I described. It gives your tissue some time to adjust to the implant. Maybe you could compare it to stretching before beginning to exercise. Limber things up so to speak.
Ok, to answer the topic of this thread. Yes, my wife knows/knew about my implant. I showed her an IPP surgery video on YouTube. That did not make her happy but it was needed to be seen. Yes, she enjoyed it. Yes, she would nudge my dick around to show her interest in sex but she never did pump it.
But life can be fickle. Eight months after recieving my implant. She died suddenly of a health condition that we were not aware of. So I now have a bionic dick for when I'm ready to date. That will be an interesting journey that I never expected to be making.
To the men on the older side of life. Don't delay getting your implant. There are a lot of things that you can't predict.

I agree with this.
I had an opportunity to get the implant at 48 and kicked the can down the road. I'm so scared of something going wrong or losing all natural arousal.
But then at 50 it occurred to me that if I don't do it now I might not ever be able to do it. After 50 the chances of contracting cancer, having a heart attack or stroke or dying from something unforeseen like the coronavirus go up almost exponentially.
I turned 50 in June and scheduled my surgery for December (to make use of my Xmas break).

Re: Is your wife/partner aware of your implant ?
Yep...she has been in the loop ever since my decision in 2018 to be implanted. Not a supporter of the procedure in any way shape or form though!! She accompanied me to my first uro appointment with the guy who fired me for being what he called 'wishy-washy' about my commitment to the irreversible procedure (I had questions that he deemed unimportant and irrelevant). She tried to assure me that sex into our 70's wasn't that important and we should just be glad to cuddle and enjoy each other 'that way'! I said that it wasn't enough for me...PERIOD! and had the upgrade done in November of 2018. I'd had a bone to pick with MEDICARE (that year and the next) for an unrelated issue where they doubled our insurance costs because of money I took from our IRA to pay off our mortgage. Killed my income level for two years and I had 2 procedures to get even!! Yeah...not the best reason to get implanted but it's done and I've been able to enjoy other outlets with my 'hard until I want it to go down' member. I'll NEVER upgrade or fix myself if the Titan 22cm cylinders ever fail since Virginia Urology at Stony Point, VA is a butcher shop outpatient joint with plenty of incompetent nursing staff for any entire country's medical community!! I got my $30K's worth of coverage out of Medicare and have 'used' my hard, long implant for many pleasurable dalliances! I'm sure this isn't what most of you were looking for but, for me, it's the real reason I'm on FT!! Truth is truth!
77; ED at 50. Fired by 1st doc (Szobota - VA Uro) too many q's & contact w/ Coloplast rep. New doc: Ellen (VA Uro) implanted 11/8/18. 22cm Titan + 2cm RTEs; moron docs, product rep, intake/ dischg nurses! NEVER again! L- 6.75"; G- 5.5" oval.

Re: Is your wife/partner aware of your implant ?
My wife knows, she was against getting an implant at all. She said because she has no interest in sex that I should just go with my ed.
I explained I was broken and missed my fully functioning dick.
She said …what ever.
We have had sex 5 times in 4 years, its been crummy sex and its beed a year now but I wouldn’t trade my implant for nothing.
