If you’re undersized with a malleable, does that mean your length and girth are gone forever?

I was implanted 6-2023 with Rigicon mallabble. Feb 2024 started having issue with floppy head and one of the rods trying to come out the side. My implant was 13mm x 17cm 6-2024 went in for a new implant it was 13mm x 20cm quite a difference so yes you can gain back with a mallabble. If your asking if you lose size implanting a mallabble will you ever recover the size I'd say when you get done your size will be what it is going to be .. From what I have read the mallable size loss is just more bad information. I had bad ED for 2 years due to a stroke. I used a VED for the
6 weeks before the surgery. I'm about 11 wks out and I bone measure about 6 x 5 1/2 and much is in the fat pad. I have posted photos on here before it's not a bad looking dick I don't think compared to all the IPPS we see posted on here. Way too much worrying on here about size loss, you lose size with age .. weight , etc .... most of us are in our mid 60's and older getting implants who are we trying to impress. You will never have the dick you think you remember of your youth no matter what you do, be thankful you have a dick that can go on forever which in the scheme of things is a much better deal I think.

If you were undersized then yes you will be shorter. You are what it is now. Revision like previous post is the only way to gain with a malleable.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

When you mention "undersized," it depends on what exactly happened in the operating room.

1) Lengthwise Undersizing:--
A) The surgeon or a rookie fellow/resident safely dilated your length up to the mid-glans/pelvic bone and measured X cm, but then installed a rod that was (X-4) cm due to human error.
B) Surgeon did not fully dilate to the mid-glans/pelvic bone, stopped before reaching it, measured X cm, and installed a rod that was X cm.
2) Girthwise Undersizing:--
C)The surgeon/rookie fellow/resident was too conservative and "played safe" and dilated your corpora to 11mm and installed a 11mm rod even when your corporal space could safely and comfortably house a 14mm Rigi10 rod.
D)The surgeon safely dilated to 14mm and installed only a 11mm rod due to human error

A and D are challenging to address with revisions for size issues due to the higher risk of tissue atrophy and scar formation in the empty spaces during the 3+ months between surgeries.

B and C can potentially be addressed with a revision for the size issue.

A malleable revision within a week is the worst nightmare I've ever heard.

What happened to the claim that "Malleables last a lifetime". Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Just a case of bad luck. Do you think that saline injections can be done during revisions ?

My mallabble revesions was due to the dr or drs under sizing since I no longer know for sure who is doing my surgery and have lost faith in my dr. being truthful with me ..
