Hey all - I've been using a VED off amazon for 30 bucks I think and have used it now for about a year and a half and it works fine. In fact I'm pretty sure I cured my ED by using it. I've seen some go for a lot of money and have never understood why since to my logic they all sort of do a very basic thing.
Recently I've noticed bruising at the base of my dick on top. I'm using the largest donut thing. I'm wondering if there are more contoured tubes out there that are better?
Pump sleeve bruising
Re: Pump sleeve bruising
I don't use donut things. Perhaps try it without and perhaps you can see what's causing the bruising.

You can't use it without it's what your dick goes into.

Then I guess I don't know what the donut thing is. My Erecaid pump doesn't have any. The cheap pump I got from the Adorime store on Amazon has what I thought you were talking about but I don't use them:

Hi,
Maybe these rings are to prevent the scrotum to be sucked up into the tube?
I have a couple of those rings which prevent my testicles to get sucked up and then pinched when I release the band. At the same time, the sleeve helps to protect the base of my penis to be injured by the ring.
Good luck.

Re: Pump sleeve bruising
I was using a donut from Zenhanger ($30 with shipping). It is a very large donut of silicone that protected my dick and scrotum very well. But it did not extend into the tube very far so there was no support for the little guy. I switched to one that also has a substantial donut but it extends 6-7" into the tube for full-length support. I like this one even better. I don't recall where I got it, but it was just $15 plus a little for shipping.

How does one get a vacuum seal without the collar? Do I have to shave the hair off?
Re: Pump sleeve bruising
so what Im looking for is a tube that isn’t necessarily larger in diameter at the base but something that is curved at the base so that it sucks up the whole dick and doesn’t leave a 1/4 inch gap at the base top.
We’re not talking about the rubber sleeve which I call a donut. You can call it a f@@king toyota I do not care.

You don't have to shave but some serious manscaping is in order. Only you can decide just how much you need to trim. I don't shave my main bush but do trim it as requested by the wife. I do shave around the base of my dick and the shaft. I consider that necessary for an easy pump seal. If you use silicone rings, shaving that area isn't necessary but a close trim is. I find it practical to shave or close crop that area as it's much less painful than having the silicone rings rip the hairs out, which they will. The boys I shave as requested by the wife. So were you to see me nude, after your initial shock and revulsion, you probably wouldn't notice I do any manscaping unless you were specifically looking to determine that issue.
So yeah, for using a VED, especially if silicone rings are to be used, some manscaping is necessary. Shaving isn't necessary.

I've seen some tubes that were somewhat oval but not what you're describing. With some practice you can learn to angle the tube to prevent getting the boys sucked in. You may need to press the tube more firmly against the underside of of your dick to keep the boys from being sucked in until the pumping gets far enough along so that isn't an issue. I've had the boys sucked in a time or three and that will most definitely get your attention, quickly. I don't use toyotas with my VEDs and found then to be an annoyance and of no benefit.
Good luck!
