Diabetics with "nonresponsive" Erectile Dysfunction--anyone had luck with PT-141?

Postby personfromon » Tue Aug 27, 2024 9:58 pm

Hey all,

I'm a Type 1 diabetic in my early 30s who has had ED for 10 or so years. Cialis and Viagra are VERY hit and miss, while injections seem to work but obviously they are costly, painful, and if you miss the injection then you end up with no effect.

Has anyone with similar symptoms had luck with PT-141? For what its worth I am in relatively good shape...exercise 3-5 times a week and have a pretty physical job. Not overweight. A1C in control.

Is PT-141 worth trying? I'm very close to pulling the trigger on an implant.

Any input is appreciated. Thank you.

I've tried it and will continue to use it because I'm desperate and I've suffered no bad side effects. I've had some encouraging results but also some meh results. Start slow and work your way up to a dose that works and you can tolerate.

I don't have diabetes but have used both PT-141 and Melanotan 2. As mentioned start slow and build up, remember you will build a tolerance if you use too frequently. I would experiment at once a week to start. If you use to much you can end up in a puke blender like what happened to me, so start slow.
what I can tell you that for me I did get raging wood and extreme hornyness, however not relate it to actually having intercourse. Very spontaneous unlike Trimix which is made for the deed.
I will go back to Melanotan 2 for the tanning effect and some low level hornyness but at a very low does like .5

To be honest with you is that some on this site have been injecting for over 30 years. Before an implant I would recommend trying to reach a level of comfort with injecting Trimix

I was a guy who went from claiming, "I will never stick a needle in my dick", to becoming quite good and fast at it.

I think Trimix is a good value, I bought at Olympia and at .2 a shot, i can get 50 shots out of the 5Ml. If I equate that to 20-30 bucks for a Levitra then it is a bargain.
If you have to pay for an implant you could be looking around 20K if you are not insured. That's a ton of vials!

I agree with Budward. If the injections are expensive you are either on Caverject or Edex or you need to get a stronger script or yoou need a new pharmacy and possibly a new doctor. Injections should be very cost effective. I know from experience that Edex is very expensive. That's the main reason I get a substitute from a compounding pharmacy.

I like the tanning effect I get from PT-141 (roughly once per week). If I give up on PT-141, I might continue with M2. How often would you inject the .5 to get decent tanning?

Trimix (or Mono/Bi/Quadmix) are very different than PT-141.

Trimix and the like work directly to give you a firmer erection by acting directly on the blood vessels locally.

PT-141 acts centrally on the brain to increase libido.

That CAN lead to firmer erections and more spontaneous erection but the vast majority of its action is libido.

If you find pills hit or miss I think you’ll find PT-141 even less effective for erections.

Regarding the cost of Trimix: my experience is that the cost of a 10ml vial is the same regardless of the concentration of the medication in solution. So get a strong enough script so that you are using a small volume of Trimix in each injection. I find it’s really cost effective.

It works great for me. Good hard on without pumping my implant. Once it's pumped it's plumped up like pre-implant days for me. . I put on a Xialla cock ring to keep it like that and the sex is great. I''ve been battling Delayed ejaculation for years. I stopped watching any porn and masturbating too and it's tough for four days but twice a week I'm finally able to come during sex with my lovely wife. I have retrograde ejaculation from surgery but it still feels great.

I use it once a week so far. My wife won't try it because she read it's bad for your heart.
Thanks

I have tried it as prescribed by a doctor.

It doesn’t do much for libido in my case - in fact I feel a little ill even from much smaller doses than prescribed - but I start to get spontaneous erections about 6-9 hours after injection. Also very strong sleep erections.

The delayed effect requires advance planning, e.g, inject at noon for sex at night. Expect to flush red as a tomato for an hour or two after injection, the effect on erections will occur later. For best effect, I would still take viagra or levitra before sex.

I stopped using it because of the ill feeling and also, on the rebound from it, I found that it was more difficult to get erections without it than normally.
