So I am scheduled for Tuesday. Have to be honest I am somewhat nervous. I find myself going back and forth of if I should go thru with it. I found out He is going to use a Boston Device and that he will be going in underneath. I am guessing this is common. So Realistically How long before I will be able to drive and get around?

I, too, have a Boston (AMS) device. 18+5 LGX.

I drove a 200 mile round trip in a pickup the day after.

I wasn’t tossing feed sacks around 3 days after but I was running around my property on a 4 wheeler or truck by day 3 checking on livestock.

I had intentionally arranged my surgery to coincide with wife’s trip to see relatives in connection with the New Year holiday. I was cooking, cleaning house, shopping at grocery, dealing with a 8 month old border collie pup. I was in no way incapacitated.

I was infrapubic (implanted above).

Here’s what to do: check back tomorrow or Sunday. I’m gonna see if I can dig up the thread that had my before, immediately after, and current pics. For medical/educational purposes only. Like I said, I bruised bad as shit but had no real pain. I was just very sore. Bruises started to resolve pretty well about day 8.

My advice: do it mentally prepared for a tough 2-3 weeks. After that everything starts getting better albeit slowly.

Actually found the stuff & got it up last nite.

Don’t let it scare you. But it’s a graphic look at before, a week after surgery, and 5 years later.

I’ll reiterate. I’m not a perv or exhibitionist. From a medical point of view I wish the hell I could have seen something like that beforehand. I would still have done that, but I wouldn’t have freaked out quite so much. Lol.

Good luck. If you need reassurance, message me anytime. It’s not that big a deal, really, but anytime a guy’s junk gets cut on it’s a big deal to them.

As far as complexity, it’s about like getting a hernia repair.

Well Thank you everyone for some good advice. My Doc is supposed to be back On Monday. Hoping he returns my call so we can talk.. So just curious I have seen a number of people mention that they had to have re dos. Is this a common occurrence? I know what the literature says but how long can I reasonable expect before I need to worry about getting a replacement?

My Doctor told me the average life span for IPP's is about a decade.

Some can get to 15 years, but the way the wife and I have been banging it out the last year and a half, mine may have a much shorter shelf life. LOL!

If your Doctor is world class(VERY important) he/she will get you to your closest size configuration you had naturally before.
