Hi all,
I know medically we all been advised to not mix Trimix with Viagra or other PDE5s...but I'm thinking this;
If you miss Trimix shot, and not supposed to inject again for 24 hours. But if say 30 minute after injection for sure you know you missed...but still need to perform...cant you take Viagra then as a backup? Since it was a definite missed shot, the Trimix is just slowing diluting away in fascia and misc tissues but not the corpus cavernosum?
Conversely, if took Viagra and waited say 120 minutes and definitely not working, isin't it OK to inject Trimix then as a backup since Viagra would wear off in another 120 minutes anyway? So 4 hours after Viagra and 2 hours after Trimix there would only be Trimix in your system left so risk of priapism is not much longer?
I definitely could see why simultaneously mixing would be bad, and definitely could see why long acting Cialis and Trimix definitely don't mix.
I'm just thinking out loud...not actually advocating to mix...

Re: Trimix with Viagra?
As long as you're SURE you missed the shot and have no erection from it I don't see why not. I don't want to advocate for this either as I don't want to be responsible but personally, If I did the injection and it didn't work, as In I KNOW I missed the spot and waisted the injection, I would personally use Viagra. But even if there was a slight erection meaning I did somewhat hit the spot I wouldn't risk it.

Re: Trimix with Viagra?
I have taken a Viagra 100 and about an hour later also taken a full TRIMIX injection, not knowing if either were going to work. Those injections are so hit and miss. I didn't have any side affects from either or both. One time I did have my best 2hr sex.
No other problems.
Only did it a couple times.

So far so good.

Re: Trimix with Viagra?
Contrary to all current medical advice I am sometimes taking 40 mg of sildalifil about an hour before I inject. I’m finding I get better glans engorgement and a thicker erection. No issues with priapism at this point. Again I am not recommending this due to the contraindications of doing both meditations simultaneously. I do find that using trimix alone results in a hard, but skinnier, erection. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon?
63yr old. PDwith 40% dor. Curve. Pre-PD 7”x6”.lost 2 in. due to PD. ED prior to PD. Switched from Sildalifil to Trimix Nov 2023 . Currently titrating Trimix for optimization.
Re: Trimix with Viagra?
I've combined Viagra with injections many times. However it must be noted that I've had an RP with nerves damaged or taken. Viagra alone will produce no erection for me so in my case there is little risk. However it does give a boost to other ED solutions.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

I did this once.
I took 100mg viagra hoping for sex. A couple of hours later my wife was open to the idea, by this time viagra had started to fade.
Not wanting to disappoint her I took 70% of my normal dosage of Trimix.
Almost five hours later as I was contemplating going to ER it started to go down.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

My urologist prescribed both after he had to increase my prescription strength a couple of times.. Suggested I start with 50mg Viagra and restart the titration process with the trimix (units injected).
Birth Year 1959, Happily married to wife since 1987. On TRT since age 45, started sildenafil at age 48. Had lifesaving abdominal surgery at 61 with lost erectile function following surgery. Started trimix in January 2023 at age 63.

Re: Trimix with Viagra?
Just remember to find your NEW LOWER correct Trimix amount by titrating up AFTER waiting an hour for the Viagra to be absorbed into your system, one-and-a-half hours if your stomach isn't empty. Several trials over days or weeks will be necessary, as when you first began injecting.
Many urologists won't suggest this combination because of the priapism danger to unthinking guys. (Not that FT members would fall into this category. )

Re: Trimix with Viagra?
I am not a doctor but taking viagra a couple hours after a failed injection shouldn’t cause any problem, but be very careful with the inverse scenario. Viagra isn’t out of your system in 4 hours, that’s just how long it takes for half the viagra to leave your system. After 8 hours 1/4 of the viagra is still in your system, etc.
Re: Trimix with Viagra?
I wouldn’t do this (mix viagra & a trimix shot) without medical advice.
I wouldn’t advocate anyone trying it, either.
Unless they have discussed it with their doctor. If the doctor is on board, then it has the potential to be pretty successful. The big HOWEVER, is that a lot depends on your own case. ED is definitely not a one-size-fits-all medical condition.
Here’s how my case went down: in 1987 I started shooting bimix. In 1994 or 95 switched over to shooting Caverject (straight prostaglandin e1. Talk about achy dick!)
In 1997 I deployed to the Middle East for a year. No need for wife-pleasing erections. On my mid-tour leave I had been abstinent long enough that my own circulatory system plus a cock ring sufficed.
By the time I redeployed Viagra was on the market. So naturally my doc prescribed me a bottle. The Army didn’t pay for it either.
100 mg of it gave me a usable if not spectacular boner. It also gave me a headache and really bad ass indigestion/heartburn.
So back to doctor. Came back home with vial of trimix (also out of pocket). Don’t ask me to remember concentration. I do recall the dosage was .2-.3 ml not to exceed .5 ml.
In trying to titrate the dose this particular doctor suggested taking half of a viagra table and around .15 ml of trimix. Keep in mind this was 1998, I was 42 (young for a guy being treated for ED at the time) and a lot of what they did was trial & error.
The bottom line was with a doctor prescribing this, and with me (as the patient) aware of the risk of priapism, we proceeded to use this combo (adjusting the dose as needed) for the next 21 years.
This isn’t your mom prescribing your brother’s cough syrup or antihistamine out of the medicine chest. Don’t try it at home based on your knowledge. But depending on your specific case a combination pill/shot is a weapon a doctor can employ against ED.
