Pump before surgery?
Pump before surgery?
Its obviously too late, I am having the AMS700 surgery in two weeks and someone told me I should have been pumping daily or semi daily to stretch out the penis. Any truth to this or is it rumor?

Re: Pump before surgery?
I'd repost in the implant section. It might not be too late to do some good if you start now.

Hello Kernels:
My surgeon, Dr. Perito does blogs on Youtube called "Meet the Penis." One of those addresses your topic about the vacuum pump before surgery. He says that it will not give you length or girth but it will help with the recovery after your surgery. He recommends pumping three weeks before surgery and none during the week of surgery. I am scheduled for my surgery on Friday, September 13th for my and I have been pumping daily for the last two weeks. And I intend to pump all the way up to the day of my surgery to get my full three weeks in. I was pumping twice a day for five two minute cycles last week and now am pumping once daily at max capacity that I can stand for 30 minute sessions. Again I would do it as much as you can tolerate but don't do too much suctions as you don't want your skin to bruise. Good luck on your surgery!
Re: Pump before surgery?

Re: Pump before surgery?
I started my VED and traction therapy months before my surgery.
I know it helped me recover size taken by atrophy.
I worked my way up to 200mm according to my pressure gauge. I would venture to 10inches of pressure BRIEFLY.
More pressure or more time in my experience leads to more edema.
VED usage without a gauge is insane.
I hope my post in members only area helps.

In that post is a link to my priapism disaster.
That expedited my surgery.
Initially I was planning implant in January 2025 to give me time to lose more weight and recover or possibly gain more size.
Atrophy was a huge mental blow to my mental state.
