Titan Kink Question

Hi Hrc714, Thanks for sharing. Wow. Nice girth when fully inflated. And seems like just a small kink when max deflated. Do you put a few pumps in because the kink is painful or just aesthetic reason? Also do you mind sharing your flaccid and erect size before and after the implant?

From what I’ve read and seeing you have a 5” girth, either of the implants will fill your girth up. I have a little over 6” at base and 6” mid shaft girth and it’s actually a bit larger than it was pre implant. either brand would give you all the girth you could need. Might consider letting your Surgeon make his best opinion known and maybe go with that. I personally don’t want to lose any girth and if Dr told me I can get all I have back with a AMS or Titan it wouldn’t matter to me. Whatever fits my anatomy best in his opinion would work fine with me.

One thing I would like to point out is that surgeon opinions and techniques vary greatly and are sometimes conflicting. Being an engineer I expected that there would be a lot more synergy.

For example, Dr. Clavell told me that I would need to pick one of the implants when I schedule surgery and it can't be a game time decision. He initially recommended the AMS CX after doing a stretch test. But after my doppler ultrasound said either would be fine. Dr. Eid told me that Titan is my best choice because otherwise my dick would be like a pancake.

Dr. Clavell starts cycling between 3 to 6 wks whereas Dr. Eid says he would start cycling on the third day.

Dr. Clavell keeps you erect at 60% before cycling but Dr. Eid says he would leave me completely deflated to allow proper capsule formation around the reservoir.

Dr. Clavell uses Exparel local anesthesia and saline injection to stretch the penis. But Dr. Eid says spinal anesthesia is the best to get the flaccid penis to stretch the most during surgery.

Hot tub bath is a big no for Dr. Clavell due to infection fear whereas Dr. Eid says start cycling after 3 days in a hot tub bath.

I have a video consult with Dr. Hakky soon and he'll probably have very different suggestions. I'm now completely confused as to which approach is best and why do the surgeons opinions and techniques seem to be contradicting? Frustrating.

Would appreciate any insight to bring me some peace of mind

When I first started researching I was sold on the titan because it was known as the harder more rigid implant. For people with pyronies disease or just a curved dick and they want it straighter, than titan is probably the best bet. Most Drs agree with this. Also have heard that either one will get much harder than any natural blood filled dick. I’m sure either will.One issue could fall on if the Dr even uses both. There are a few out there that generally use one or the other. Another issue I’ve been concerned with is if the Drs are getting a better kick back with one or the other. Back to subject at hand. After a little over 2 years with my Titan I’ve been curious about an AMS product and how it would feel in flaccid state compared to what I have. I don’t have any issues with my Titan but the first few months was challenging. But I’ve read where it was similar with all of them for first few months.point I made earlier is that basically AMS or Coloplast would be a good implant. I would roll the dice with either if and when I get a revision. Probably would go with Titan again as that’s what I’ve been used to.

Where are these kinks supposed to be in a Titan? I sure don't see anything unusual on my penis. In flaccid state it looks like my old penis, just longer. It lays to the left like it always did. Almost 5 years and happy with it.

Hmm, It looks like a bulge rather than a kink. Is that because the cylinder folding onto itself and does this feel bother some?

A separate question, this is about the tips of the cylinder resting in the glans. Since the titan cylinder diameter is 22mm, when fully inflated the tips inside the glans would be 22mm or about 0.86 inches from each other. My glans end to end width wise is about 1 inch. Do you think this would be a problem where the tips are way to the edges of the glans? See pic below:
