I've come across some posts suggesting that I can only expect the implant to last about 5 years on average. This has got me a bit worried.

I just heard from Dr. Clavell that he performed a revision for someone's 10th implant, and the patient is happy and doing well.

10th implant?? See - sure statically speaking they say 10yrs life expectancy but we all know the insurance and health field industry is a greedy scam. I don’t see them coming out with something more durable tbh. IF they do what happens to their practice/business? Collapses - same reason why they don’t give us a healthy diet plans and tell us to exercise when we have health issues. Instead they prescribe us medications and follow ups. The best way to go is malleable - and I say that with tongue in cheek cause then you drastically lose size for durability
30 yrs old. Current IPP failed in 2022. Waiting revision. No insurance. I’ve had both Titan & AMS.

Exactly. With our advance technology idk how people are convinced they haven’t found something that would already last a life time. I don’t believe it. It’s all a monopoly- sorry gents not tryna be negative but when you’ve had 4 surgeries on your dick by 31 only to have a broken dick again you start seeing the lies and operation behind the curtain.

I was just thinking about these devices and got to the conclusion they're most likely being developed for these guys who were going with malleables due to limited hand dexterity. Through Franktalk I've seen opinions of implantees that they'd rather have a more durable device than something that 'experimental', but to me it seems AMS wants to cover that niche with inflattables of this kind.
28 y/o, Poland, ED after heavy metal poisoning
Corporal fibrosis after ED - Traction + VED to regain size - seeing great results
Lost 1"L 0.5"G. Regained all length and 0.2"G.
Making money to afford implant, meanwhile trying everything else

Yes, with an app-controlled electronic implant, they could also incorporate a vibrating feature. Ensuring the device's reliability is absolutely critical.

Oh man, the dreams of vibrating implants...I believe the day such device would be released would go down in history as the day when natural cocks have fallen. Even now bionics are kind of enhanced compared to a natural male, can't even imagine the hype implants would get once happy receivers spread the word about the new thing on the market.

Implants are only about 40 years old. In that short period of time they have improved immensely.

Not only should you expect similar or even greater improvements over the next 40 years, you should expect advances on many other fronts, such as tissue regeneration.

I wouldn’t be surprised if in 40 years there are lab-grown fully functional dicks.

The future is just going to get better. Do what’s best for you now.
49. Implanted 5/21/2024 at Kaiser SSF. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

I agree. The future is fun to think about, but for fixing your cock, use what's available now. Don't wait. New tech almost always takes longer than predicted to ship, and it's often best to avoid being first. I'm very leery of lithium ion packs inside my body. I don't even want to be in the first year or two of a new manual pump.

I'm a nerd, so I enjoy buying the latest and greatest phone every year. (Just got my first foldable!) But for tech that goes in my body, I'm much more conservative.
Implanted June, 2022 by Dr. Karpman. 22cm Titan with 1.5cm RTE.

I agree. There have been recalls of the latest and greatest orthopedic hip and knee implants, and it's unsettling especially when you have one in your body, and in our case, inside the penis!
