Whats up guys!
So, it is done!
Had the surgery done on Monday morning (9th Sept. 24), it is now wednesday evening here in Germany.
Lets see how this goes! Some pure facts:
Surgeon(s):
-Prof. Daniar Osmonov
-Prof. Steven K. Wilson
Location:
-UKSH Lübeck, Germany
Implant:
-Rigicon Infla10X, 20cm +1cm RTE
Else:
-penoscrotal
-uncirumsised
-1 hour
-no complications
-4 nights in hospital
-all costs covered by Insurance (AOK-Baden-Württemberg)
Cant say much about anything right now, since its only been a little over 48hours. Attached are two pictures, one, where I want to be at again in the future, the other from this afternoon after getting my blood drain and catether removed.
Pain wise on surgery day I was 100% fine, but was under pain medication (Novalgin). First night was not very comfortable in the perineum area, turns out I just had to take a shit the next morning. On that day, 24h after surgery, I had a lot of unpleasant pressure feeling in my shaft. Also swelling began. 2nd night was painfull but fine after I woke up in the middle of the night and repositioned a little in bed. now today, 2nd day after surgery and without those hoses coming out of my member, I felt way better. Swelling is still there, which is expected, icing helps. Will see hoe the 3rd night goes, finally without catether and blood drain.
Hoping to get to take a shower tomorrow which should be possible after the blood drain got removed today.
I will just keep on reporting in this thread, if you have any questions let me know, I will answer them all, got a 11hour train ride on friday.
Best Regards from Germany!

Congrats man! The hardest is behind you. Hopefully you will regain all of your size. I have sent you a PM.
30 years old French with ED caused by priapism episodes at the age of 15. Pills have lost most of their potency, injections work but are painful and not a long-term solution. Scheduled for an AMS 700 CX on 05/12/2024.

How many hours did your priapism last? Should they have drained you? I also had priapism for 3 hours and they had to drain me.

What was the cause of getting the implant ?
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

Your photo before the surgery shows us that you've had great erection. What is the reason for the operation???
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

hey guys, back at home!
I will just take some time and answer some questions I got here and in private messages. Maybe its a good idea to answer them in "public", so more people can read my answer to it (:
The reason was, that I had an episode of priapism in January which led to not having reliable erections.
Around 20 hours. Yes they should have drained me, but stupid me did not go to the ER and rather went to go to sleep.
My Problem was not getting the rection but rather keeping the erection intact. Sometimes it would work, sometimes I would lose the erection immediatley. Pills helped a little, injections worked.
Problems started in January, first appointment was made beginning of March. When I went there I allready had the implant idea in mind and just wanted to check with the urologist if i missed something or if there was anything else I could do.
I dont take anytime off, because I am a student (started studying late) and I can just sit at home.
Doc recommended the Coloplast first, then a week before surgery asked me if I was willing to take rigicon, because he had good outcomes, also Dr. Wilson made some studies and they are happy if people are willing to take this rather new implant just for research purposes. I just said if you think it has no disadvantages lets go for it, I let you decide.
No I am not. Reason for that is, that I rather take the working dick and some revisions throughout my life, than take the not working dick to avoid revisions.

How bad was your ED before you were implanted? Could you have decent erections with pills/injections?

How long did you wait before taking the decision to go for an implant after your ED started?
Problems started in January, first appointment was made beginning of March. When I went there I allready had the implant idea in mind and just wanted to check with the urologist if i missed something or if there was anything else I could do.
How much time are you taking off from work in total?
I dont take anytime off, because I am a student (started studying late) and I can just sit at home.
Why did you go for this implant, as opposed to say the AMS or the Titan?

Are you concerned about your young age and the numerous revisions we will have in our lifetime?
No I am not. Reason for that is, that I rather take the working dick and some revisions throughout my life, than take the not working dick to avoid revisions.

Congratulations man. When you will be cleared for start inflating?
Hard flaccid syndrome since 2019. Trying to get better with conservative treatments but an implant is on my radar
