Ive been single for around 12 years. Ive had ED all that time and was finally implanted around a year and a half ago. I lost 2 full inches and around an inch and a half in girth.
Those two inches were important in maneuvering during sex and trying different positions. Im now 6 inches on my best day, head fully engorged with viagra.
My new wife was widowed for 15 years and was celibate. We tried sex initially and it didnt go well, because my fupa makes it difficult and im not long enough to overcome that. The next session we tried lube and i was able to penetrate, but she said it hurt. We tried a couple of more times after that, with lube, and she said it hurt and had a burning sensation.
I was ready for another session a couple of days ago and she said it’s difficult because the implant hurts me. I am engorged and standing up and you cant feel the tips protruding in that position.
I am very concerned about this because if it hurts, its going to he a big problem moving forward. I should also say that she told me upfront that she doesn't like sex, but she wants to make me happy.
Does this sound like an excuse? Has anyone had complaints about the head/tips causing pain during penetration?

Recently married, new wife hates the implant
54 yo, type 2 diabetes, open heart surgery. Used Viagra for 10 years, then it stopped working. Been celibate for 10 years because I couldn’t get approved for an implant. Implanted on 2-16-23 by the Veterans hospital, titan 24cm, infrapubic

Find another woman who likes sex, you can!
Re: Recently married, new wife hates the implant
Never heard of that and I’ve been on this board off and on over a decade. I would say the problem is on her side, not yours.
Re: Recently married, new wife hates the implant
This sounds more like an excuse. You said she was celibate for years, I'm willing to bet she has a low libido and doesn't enjoy sex.
Retired door kicker.
Prostate surgery 1999. Implant July 2023, went bad twice. Third implant June 2024.
Now, Robo Cock in the house.

Re: Recently married, new wife hates the implant
It’s very possible she could have some medical problems that she would have to invest the time in to improve. My ex wife had them after my youngest was born and was unwilling to seek help with, which along with other issues is why she’s my ex. Also, these problems can develop with age and possibly not having sex for a long time. I wouldn’t blame her for the problem or jump to the conclusion that it’s just an excuse. Personally I would only have an issue if my partner was unwilling to see a doctor and/or therapist to try and do something to improve the situation.
Implanted 2/14/24 at age 50 w/ a 22cm Titan, no RTE's, classic pump by Dr. Clavell after 9+ years of worsening ED. I tried everything from pills to injections. Venous leak confirmed 2/2/24. Healthy, fit and active.

Erik if she doesn’t like sex there isnt much you can do. She can try hormones therapy but she must be willing to do so
Btw with 24 cm of titan you should be longer, post some pics
LGX 18 + 1, 90 cc. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5".
Cycling with a lot of pain for the first 5 months, now improving
If you have a motorcycle or a bike stop using it (ED with motorcycle accident).

Key points that I read. Celibate for years. Doesn't like sex, it causes a burning sensation.
My non dr opinion is she has vaginal atrophy from lack of hormones after menopause. Micro tears in the tissue is the big clue.
What to do? Tough question. If she NEVER enjoyed sex with her late husband, likely pre menopause. You're in a bad spot. If she recognizes that she has changed with age & would like to change it or even be willing to try changing it. You might have a chance.
Now for the bad news. There is so much bad info about HRT in the female population that it might be hard to get her to try any. Add to the fact that frequently very SMALL doses of testosterone is needed. Women hate that word. But it is actually converted into estrogen in their bodies.
Fun fact, men inject testosterone into muscle inorder to make it a slow release. Women can use an insulin syringe. Injecting into her fat almost anywhere she desires. The weekly dosage is divided into two or three injection during the week to simulate mens extended slow release. Time release pellets can be put under her skin but as the pellet nears its replacement time. The dosage effectively is reduced.
Regular blood tests are required just like for men. On the platform Reddit is a forum describing it in good detail.
