Dr. Clavell New Implant

Postby lionsmane » Thu Sep 12, 2024 1:31 pm

Just had my op with Clavell a few days ago. Bandages are off now, but it’s difficult to get a good idea of the size due to swelling, edema, and degree of inflation. Two questions: how long until the swelling subsides, what is the degree of inflation (%)?
Can I expect to see some growth when cycling?
TIA

what length do you see now ? and what was your length pre op?

Without this information is hard to tell
LGX 18 + 1, 90 cc. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5".
Cycling with a lot of pain for the first 5 months, now improving
If you have a motorcycle or a bike stop using it (ED with motorcycle accident).

Congrats ...Welcome to the club ! 24cm is a good length . Of course there's variables like - Fitness, proximal - distal measurements ( how much of the implant is inside you , how much is outside ) . Dr. Clavell leaves you approximately 60% inflated after surgery. This is done because the body will start making a " surgical capsule " around any foriegn objects in the body . It take months to fully form , but in the meantime leaving saline in both the reservoir and cylinders in these early stages will benefit you when you get greenlighted to start cycling. You will definitely see gains when you start cycling. I went from 6.5" to 7.25" ( 7.5" when I hit it with a ved, glans engorgement is the extra 1/4 inch ) in a couple months . I was implanted with a titan 22cm . I think you'll be happy , be patient. Good luck brother

Swelling usually subsides in a week or two but everyone is different. Pain was basically gone after a week, Except for when Nurse Rachett came to deflate me. Man that Bitch hurt. I did not know if it hurts when you cycle

ice, ice, ice. I iced pretty much nonstop for a couple of weeks. I had very little pain or discomfort, which was easily address with alternating Advil and Tylenol every 3 hours for the first couple of days.

The general area will continue to change for many, many months, maybe even a year. You'll be good to go when he releases you to cycle and have intercourse, but regular cycling is a good idea. I remember I woke up one morning and pumped up and it seemed my penis was noticeably longer than the night before...and it was. Something changed and I added about a half inch literally overnight. I'm guessing this was about the 6 month mark and I had incremental growth until about 10 months.

(I bought a ruler and ground off the end so it starts exactly a the 0 mark and use it periodically to make sure I'm staying at my maximum length. I keep it in my nightstand.)

Congratulations!!!! Hope you love it. It was 1-2 weeks for me, that cleared up about 90% of the swelling. Then at around 6 weeks i could feel the pump WAY! better, so i thing that last 10% took a while.

Dr Clavell did mine back in June, I started cycling at 21 days post surgery
I had almost no swelling after surgery. I waited for the incision to fully heal.

Dr Clavell was great for me as the previous year I had one failed implant and then the second became infected. We were both shocked at how fast I healed from the surgery as 11 months after the first Dr I used things were still pretty rough. Just be patient and relaxed. Things fall into place. Implant surgery isn't a minor procedure.

The easy part is over, you had one of the best’s do your work.
NOW just relax its the hardest part of a implant. The patient part. It wil get better and better for the next year. Kick back follow the dr s orders and enjoy your new shower. Each day will be better for the next 350 days.
