0.5 CM RTE- why?

Postby TheDongDangler » Sun Sep 29, 2024 8:31 pm

Hey everyone, my penis measured exactly 21 (erection:20 cm) and I was shorted by a cm as malleable (erection: 19 cm). I have come to terms with this and girth loss and im still happy as a clam to have an erection it’s a trade off but I have no difficulty hiding my erection as I am a chubby person.

my question is, I measured exactly 20 cm in both sides and it matches the size of my penis exactly almost. I saw user @Waynetho has a similar thing being 14cm erecrion and 15cm CX.

Why the 0.5cm RTE? Are they just used to stabilise the penis as he could have cut me to 0.5 exactly but did not.
Rigicon MALLEABLE
20 cm + 0.5cm RTE
11 mm diameter rods
——
Pre-Op penile length: 7.9 inches length, 4.75 inches girth
Post-Op penile length: 7.5 inches length, 4.5 inches girth
Happy :)

The silicone rod they cut for you has a hole running through its entire length to accommodate the metal core. When you cut it, you'll notice the hole, and the smallest RTE is still needed to seal the end. Its slightly pointed shape helps secure it above the pelvic bone. Attaching a pic that I grabbed from a hospital website.

Thank you! Wow, I never realised what the rod looks like, honestly I just went with regicon because of its antibiotic coating.

The only prosthesis that I'm aware of with an antibiotic coating (Inhibizone) is the AMS 700 IPP.

Rigicon uses a hydrophilic (water-attracting) coating (HydroShield) on the rod and RTE, which absorbs the antibiotic solution that the surgeon dips it into. It becomes extremely slippery once dipped, allowing the surgeon to easily insert it into the corpora.

After a year , I may switch to a genesis and get maximum girth rods.

This hydrophilic and antibiotic coating sound similar.

Is the Genesis now officially available in India? It was previously withdrawn from the Indian market due to deregistration and, for a time, was only available through the grey market (smuggled version), which would void the warranty. If the warranty isn't a concern for you, then it's not a big issue.

I’d probably just get it in Turkey or go to Atlanta and do it with Dr Hakky

I love the genesis design because the tip is tapered. While my penis is long and girth is average, my gland penis is very small for some reason. So they could only fit a 11 regi for me

Genesis is cool. Solid track record since 2004.
