So, it is done!

Had the surgery done on Monday morning (9th Sept. 24), it is now wednesday evening here in Germany.
Lets see how this goes! Some pure facts:

Surgeon(s):
-Prof. Daniar Osmonov
-Prof. Steven K. Wilson

Location:
-UKSH Lübeck, Germany

Implant:
-Rigicon Infla10X, 20cm +1cm RTE

Else:
-penoscrotal
-uncirumsised
-1 hour
-no complications
-4 nights in hospital
-all costs covered by Insurance (AOK-Baden-Württemberg)



Cant say much about anything right now, since its only been a little over 48hours. Attached are two pictures, one, where I want to be at again in the future, the other from this afternoon after getting my blood drain and catether removed.

Pain wise on surgery day I was 100% fine, but was under pain medication (Novalgin). First night was not very comfortable in the perineum area, turns out I just had to take a shit the next morning. On that day, 24h after surgery, I had a lot of unpleasant pressure feeling in my shaft. Also swelling began. 2nd night was painfull but fine after I woke up in the middle of the night and repositioned a little in bed. now today, 2nd day after surgery and without those hoses coming out of my member, I felt way better. Swelling is still there, which is expected, icing helps. Will see hoe the 3rd night goes, finally without catether and blood drain.
Hoping to get to take a shower tomorrow which should be possible after the blood drain got removed today.

I will just keep on reporting in this thread, if you have any questions let me know, I will answer them all, got a 11hour train ride on friday.

Quick question: Why did you get the rigicon 10X and not the AX? As it expands in length also, was there any reasoning behind it?

First answering those questions:

2 doctors and they couldn't get both cylinders into the glans ? Do they need glasses ?
Hopefully your length and girth comes back after you can inflate 100 % . After all that's how you achieve a full erection now .

I assume my Glans was just to small honestly. Inflated and aroused, my glans is now bigger than it has ever been, despite only one cylinder being in there.
I dont doubt the skill of my surgeon(s), since one is one of the most respected surgeons in central europe and the highest volume doc in my country and the other one is "the father of IPP", having implanted more men than anyone else on the planet.

I let my surgeon decide. He told me before, he will choose between titan and inflax depending on which will fit best. the inflax is the girthiest implant there is, so since he was able to fit it in, he chose the thickest option. regarding the AX, he, aswell as some other high volume surgeons, wont use AX or LGX, due to less rigidity in comparison to the other implants, that dont expand in length, so there was no coice made by me.

Regarding my Journal-Update:
Yesterday marks 6 weeks post-surgery.
I started to cycle the implant around 3,5 weeks post surgery but not very regualary. The reason for that is, that I had a LOT of trouble and pain finding the deflate button. This, together with the fact, that I had a lot of pain in my shaft if I would pump a little to much, resulted in me having anxiety, because I was afraid, that I would have pain and not beeing able to deflate fast. Happend one time, I was alsmost crying, sweating everywhere, getting nauseous and almost could not breath.
Turns out: User Error.There was more swelling, than I was aware of, so I thought I had located every pump-part right, but I wasnt. 1,5 weeks later I clicked (in my head) and shortly after it clicked in the pump and now I simply reach down there, press the correct part on the pump once and it will deflate. Done in 2 seconds, very happy with that.

I am still not sure how to cycle properly. I am torn between 2 methods: inflate until discomfort and leave it for as long as I can stand, or inflate as much as I can and endure immense pain for only a very short time until I need to deflate.
I am doing Perito-Bends, but those are only possible in the "slight discomfort"-stage. If I pump more I am not even able to touch the shaft properly without multiplying the pain. Same goes for VED usage.

The loss of length topic
I already did a seperate post about that. I am devastated.
I lost almost 2 inches and there is no change to note. My erect penis BPEL in a VED is now smaller, than my natural flaccid NBP penis was.
Will I keep cycling? Yes of course. Do I have hopes in getting back to my original lenght? No, not really. Does this impact me a lot on a psychological level? Yes.

The reason for that may be, that less than a year ago I was having a full on erection. I dont have that "20years of Ed"-phase and I assume if that was the case I would also think "better a working dick, than a longer not working dick", but in my case the dick was working a few months ago, so this is very present for me.
A good example for that would be a few days ago, when i was given a blowjob: The image of this girl sucking on that very much smaller dick and grippin it with her thumb, index and middle finger, not beeing able to take a full hand grip and still have enough dick to suck on was very frustrating and devastating.
There are a lot of happy guys with 5 inch dicks perfectly fine and perfectly satisfying a woman. That is not the point and I am not saying, that shorter dicks are bad or bigger is allways better. Its just the fact, that I am not used to this and its just a really destroying feeling.

Why I see no hope in regaining?

-Altough I can inflate 100% yet, there is no change in length from flaccid to errect at all (if not aroused). Implant wont expand in length, there are also no dogears or crinkles that could "give" some length.
-The pain I feel while infalting too much is only in the shaft. There is no stretchy feeling or pain anywhere near the glans.
-When infaltet or deflatet, I can grab my glans, pull it outwards and pull the cylinderout of my glans, extending my penis almost one inch above the tip of the cylinders. There is room, but the implant does not fill it.
-Getting 19,5cm bone pressed Dick back with a 21cm implant seems kind of odd.
-I wrote my surgeon about it and he said "once the implant is activated, you will have your length back!" I told him, that i am not talking about the flaccid and that i inflated the implant allready and he just said "you can come to an appointment here, we have meassurements on the surgery-table and we can compare". I asked him if its possible to get those meassurements from the hospital, he did not respond anymore.

So as you can see, there is a lot going on in my head right now. The device itself works as intended, pain is normal and too be expected, I was not the girthiest guy and now I have the thickest cylinders available inside there, but losing almost the width of a hand in length.. I dont know...

Thinking about getting a second opinion from another surgeon, altough I am pretty sure the next weeks/months I will allways get the answer "its too early to tell" or, as my surgeon wanted to tell me in a not so direct way: its just in your head, you meassured wrong before. This is not the case, as I said, I am not a 20year long ED-guy, that does not remember his original length from his youth.I was fucking with that dick 4 days before surgery and was meassuring the week before.

Very interesting thought: I NOW have anxeitiy going into sexual activity and never had that before the implant. The worst thing that could happen was me saying "stay right there i need to get the syringe". I guess for most guys here its the other way around. They hat anxiety before the implant and the surgery fixed that.

Hi Stampede, I appreciate a lot your post, I think it's helpful for everyone in the forum who might be going through something similar.

If you had 19.5cm Bpel that is a LOT. But if you have a 21cm implant, does it mean that you only have 1.5cm inside your body? Something seems odd.
I only had 17.5cm Bpel. Before the implant. And I got a 20+1cm, exactly like you. The difference is I have the AX model which at least gives me the hope to expand in length.
Regarding the LGx I read from some people that it's not rigid enough, but everyone who I asked that had the AX from rigicon said it get super hard (I talked to 8-10 patients at least).

If I were you I would get a second opinion. I am also in early recovery. If you want we can connect via pm?
