How long does it take for swelling to go down and get your full penis size back?

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

so what was the issue ? You were undersized?
I had ashish as my surgeon in india as well . I did use a vac before the operation off and on for a month . I don't think I lost much length, but quite a bit of girth .
I see some members here state they had pain and swelling afterward and noticed their rods were inserted at the top of the shaft. That might be a better procedure in the long run , but cause more difficulty with bending after the operation . i don't know.
my incision was actually just below the lower shaft on the scrotum .
i had no pain or swelling and no problem bending the day after the operation .
as far as his attitude, yeah ,I think in general in India people with a " higher status " tend to talk down to people for what ever reason
my interaction with him a few times . with a few questions once when he didn't answer a text for nearly 2 days . ,i would say he has "blunt" ,
but with his operation i had no problems , other than the loss of girth .

Mine was from there too yeah like I was inserted from top of the shaft.

well with a malleable , its a done deal , your size cant change now . unless like on the medical site that recomends the implant is done with out dilators and the malleable in not inserted the cavernous .
other wise its destroyed and cant ever be filled with blood again.
although that is usually the issue that drives men to get an implant . maybe yours was done differently ?

here is the article . im sure my implant was not done as advised in this article .

To preserve as much of the corpora cavernosa as possible, it is important to minimize the use or not use of dilators during the penile prosthesis implantation process. The use of dilators to perform prosthesis implants harms the corpora cavernosa, which can result in loss of residual penile filling quality.

The conservation of the cavernous bodies as possible is essential so that the patient can enjoy the residual penile filling that he had before the implantation of the prosthesis. For this preservation, instead of inserting the penile prosthesis in the middle of the penis, it is necessary to make a separation between the cavernous bodies and the tunica albuginea where the prosthesis is implanted.

Thus, when the patient has a cerebral erotization and penile vasodilation, he will be able to enjoy the filling and heating of the penis closer than he was able to before undergoing an implantation process.

After creating the space between the tunica albuginea and the corpora cavernosa, a malleable or inflatable penile prosthesis is inserted, which aims to provide the vertical rigidity necessary for the sexual act.

so the next implant, your going with a inflatable? some guys have reported they were able to gain back lost girth and or length ,thats great . good luck on the next one . i hope it goes well .

Do Hakky and Clavell follow this?

It would be nice to have patient satisfaction scores to support this claim about cavernosal tissue preservation of ED patients, who have varying degrees of impaired blood flow to begin with. Maybe it's more of a biological assumption by some surgeons. Typically, for a practice to become mainstream, it requires clinical trial data along with patient satisfaction questionnaires on subjective metrics, which are often presented at conferences of the SMSNA, AUA.... From here, it gradually gets adopted into mainstream medicine. Until that happens, experiential evidence can even be tainted by placebo effects. Until we have proven measurable data, should we even expect the Hakkys, the Peritos and the Clavells to cheerlead this concept? I don't know.

I believe Eid does it this way.

You're right. He does for sure, but does he or anyone have published peer-reviewed studies on this?

Is this data driven and evidence-based and hence presented and adopted elsewhere, like his "no-touch technique" or is this just a biological plausibility?

Does the patient end up with a thinner rod in the name of aggressive preservation of cavernosal tissue?

Is the preserved cavernosal tissue still compressed by the rods, and does that negate the benefit of preservation?

Are the benefits largely a placebo effect?

So many ifs and buts...

I agree with you. My doctor follows the same technique as Eid. I wonder too if it’s a thinner rod for a bullshit technique.

Out of curiosity, did you receive a different opinion from others you’ve consulted?
