The scar tissue that causes peyronies also shortens the tissue. If any fibrosis is encountered. Inexperienced drs will just use the size that matches the space available. A good dr will gently cut thru it so he can use a proper sized implant. So there is the bad news. Its preached frequently that your choice of a surgeon is very important. Installing an implant isn't a difficult process. The skill is is how to do it when difficult or unusual conditions are present or encountered. Peyronies is probably at the top of the list of those conditions. Sometimes micro scratches are used to create areas in the scar tissue to allow it to expand. Some of these tricks are not taught to new surgeons very well. Please factor this into your expectations. How experienced was your dr. Not how well his friends like him.

Our memories of our size isn't very good. Measuring while in a VED or while having an erection from an injection leads to false measurements. Despite all the bad stories. Your penis stretch test is about the best guide there is.

I can only speak about my experience. I never measured myself prior to ED. I was not happy with my stretch test. But my dr was fairly well spoken of by FT members in private messages. I did gain close to 2cm after 3 months of recovery. A VED was used & I was a dedicated cycler of three times day. Some days even more. I'm content with my results. Be forewarned. It can take a year, sometimes longer to reach your final size even with steady cycling. If you don't do the work, you can't expect the results. Its that simple.

Also, as Newhope says. We can't compare your results to other surgeries without knowing more about you. Like your stretch test measurement, your dr & how long you went without nighttime erections.

hey thanks for your input, yeah I watched a perito video talking about same thing about when night time erections go, peyronies crippled me there for sure, guess I just got to meet my fate and embrace my new life / penis anyway whilst doing the best I can

Take a breath.

I didn't start cycling until 6 weeks post-op, and like you I was about 1.5 inches under my post-op erection. Bone-pressed is very difficult, as my scar starts right above my penis, so that is hard there, and still a bit sore if I press on it.

However, my girth is definitely coming back (I am 4 1/2 months now post-op). I hold off measurements for one-month increments. But it appears length is slowly returning, too. I am cycling twice per day. I leave it pumped to the max for at least an hour each time and have no pain at all.

BTW, all you out there recommending just a couple of high-volume doctors, mine is not one of them. Mine is Dr. Stork at U-Michigan West Urology. He did a great job and I highly recommend him. :D

Good to hear! i look forward to start cycling, how is it going for you?

One good thing is I'm noticeably more girthy. My original penis was still pretty girthy but when peyronies destroyed it, had hourglass, curvity etc etc it messed it up, so seeing a nice girth is good... Now just to work on length

hows cycling going mate? i still have to wait a few weeks, although I'm just under 2 weeks since surgery I've been able to start doing perito exercises last few days.

my penis felt super compact/tight and I'm like giving it small yoga sessions almost which I think might be loosening it up and even extending it a bit now. that's what id like to think anyway haha

seems like many say it'll take months to see some growth so... praying for us!

I'm cycling away and have my measurements from when I started. It'll be a week of doing it tomorrow. Definitely not as sore as it was when I started. I have a follow up after four months so if I haven't seen anything by then I'll be having a long conversation with him.

Good stuff! I'm sure we'll be alright. I feel like the stretching is already helping me a bit. Just making the penis feel less compact/tight as it was right after surgery, feel like its hanging even a tad better, going to just continue perito exercises and cycle when I can in a few weeks

When I posted yesterday or the day before I was I think in a panic
