the right needle size for trimix

hello all

i had great success with trimix at the clinic where 30 g 5/16 8mm needle was used.

at home with my gf i tried twice and failed. both occasions i used 31g 6mm needle (i found the needle difference out later). i also felt a little pain with 6mm needle which i didnt feel with 8mm

first time i tried at home i faced resistance in the plunger and got a very partial erection.

second time i tried and didnt face any plunger resistance but got no results. i just poked and didnt go deep.

i have two questions:

1) what is the recommended needle measurements for effective delivery of trimix? after poking do i need to push the needle a little against my dick to ensure it goes deep?

2) is the presence of my gf affecting the results of trimix? my urologist told me trimix doesn't care about the brain and it will work as long as its injected correctly. the last time i tried trimix at the clinic and my dick wasnt going down and 2 hour mark was reached. i was thinking the worst possible things but still nothing helped until i started doing 30 non stop pushups that brought it down.

Get a VED if you don't have one to plump up your penis, once its extended or large, then find your spot. I use as 1/2" 30 gauge needle. Then press the needle in slowly, holding it like a dart, push it in deep and then depress the plunger, if you meet any resistance then work with the depth of the needle. After you inject massage your penis and balls for a minute or two. This should help.

If you don't plump up with a VED then you may press the needle to far. The VED for me is the key. Makes my dick thick.

I've never heard of anyone using 6mm needles. They are too short. The 8mm can be too short for some guys. The use of 1/2" is probably at least as common as the use of 5/16" needles for intracavernosal injections.

The recomended sizes are Length, 5/16" to 1/2" that's 8mm to 12.7mm. I suppose it's even possible that some guys that generally need a 1/2" (12.7mm) might need 5/8" (16mm) if using an autoinjector.

As for gauge, I think 29 to 31 are all pretty common. The 30 gauge may be the most common. I like the 31 gauge but it is the easiest to bend.

Yes for the most part I agree with your urologist. However, for guys that can get a little natural penile tumescence and like to use the minimal injection dose necessary, the girlfriend presense may play a noticeable effect. Generally it should be a positive effect. However the proper dose of meds will overide all. I get almost no natural penile tumescence. However with a decent injection erection, plus arousal and stimulation and cock ring, I can get a small but useful natural erection bump. But your doctor is in general correct.

Don't forget to keep a spreadsheet with all the injection parameters. I imagine my length divided into five zones, for example, which gives me ten injection points. My procedure differs a little from point to point. Record each injection and the results. You'll then arrive at your optimum dose and technique the fastest.

I keep phenylephrine in the form of Wal-Phed PE tablets in case of an over-four-hour erection. It's behind the counter at Walgreens and you have to ask for it and sign a log. Take six or so with your pushups if you have to bring it down.

My doctor gave me 27g 1/2” and it hurt to a point I was about to stop using it.
Ordered 30g 5/16 and that works a lot better.

27 gauge! Ouch 5/16in also comes in 31 gauge, which I find more comfortable than 30g. In fact, I can often get it between nerves, which gives me a painless injection. I don't have a concern about a needle this thin breaking, because the steel is very ductile.

bldoink told me about EasyTouch syringes, which work better than others I've tried.
