Floppy glans immediately after implant? Also called hypermobile glans

My dr. was dr. carrion at USF in Tampa fl .. he said he was the highest volume implanter in the country of the mallabbles and he was right at 50 implants a year when I last saw him 6-2024 .. he is a big pusher of the mallables but he does both types his father helped invent the IPP back in the 70's . .. Unfortunately there is much misinformation on the mallabbles out there as far as size loss .... erosion .. etc .. This site has been a big help to many and I hope it continues to be a place where honest information is shared.

I appreciate this information. I love this forum and think it's been wonderful. In addition to the forum, I think there should be some kind of Wiki or book or something that users here can contribute to and continuously refine as a single source of truth about these implants. There's precious little consistent information on the internet and it's often difficult to sift through information in individual forum posts.

My cylinders were down out of my glans a few days after surgery. On day 19 I was cleared for cycling. My doctor advised it was very important to inflate to the max to get the tips back up into the glans. My LGX expands like your AX. Just follow your cycling protocol when you are cleared to cycle and make sure you inflate to the max. You might also try gently pulling your glans down on the ends of the cylinders. My cylinder tips are now well up in my glans,

Newbie443, did your implant reach your glans immediately when you started cycling? As in day 1? Or it took a few months?

It took a while. I cannot remember how long but it was not in the first week or so I think. Mine was in the glans after surgery and the device deflated and the tips pulled out of the glans in the first 3-4 days. So mine were going back up where they had been in the first place.

I understand. Give it at least 3 months after surgery before getting concerned. You never know, regular cycling might completely resolve your condition.

I have a Rigicon 10 mallabble .. 6=2023 //2-2024 noticed glans more floppy and right rod trying to come out sideways past tip ..ended up I was undersized and had to have a revision 6-2024 .. went from 13mm x 17cm to 13mm x 20cm .. big difference .. so far has solved the glans issue but has caused other issues ..

Which other issues did the new implant cause?
