Uro only increased Papaverine in new Trimix recipe
Uro only increased Papaverine in new Trimix recipe
Still titrating dosage to find a “workable” mix. My Doc changed my prescription from 30/2/20 (Papaverine/ Phentolamine/ Alprostadil) to 45/1.5/15. Is Papaverine the most potent ingredient in Trimix?

Are you sure you don't have the ingredients backwards? I don't know that I've seen papaverine higher than 30. Are you sure the 45 isn't the alprostadil?

I have absolutely no medical credentials or knowledge of any kind. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.
What was the reason for the change to that formula? Have you had bad effects (pain) from the alprostadil?

Re: Uro only increased Papaverine in new Trimix recipe
Thanks for the reply. No, there was very little pain after injection. Sometimes I would take an ibuprofen before the injection, just in case. The reason for the change in formula was that the previous formula did not produce an adequate erection. I'm stuck at the "almost there, but not hard enough." This is my 4th formula upgrade. Started at 15/0.5/5 (Papaverine/Phentolamine/Alprostadil), then 30/1/10, then 30/2/20 and now 45/1.5/15. Topped out at 90 units on all the previous formulas. And you are correct in questioning the 45 mg Papaverine, I haven't been able to find a formula with 45 mg Papaverine in any of my searches. Thanks for your time and I understand about the lack of credentials. I have gained more information from this forum than from all my doctor visits.
