I just turned 80, my wife (78), and I are quite active sexually for our age, 2 times a week seems to keep us both satisfied. I have been implanted for a little over 2 years and we only have good things to say about the implant, it satisfies us both.
For just the last few weeks I have been plagued with anorgasmia. All my sensations during sex have not changed, everything feels just as good as it always has. I recently have been taking a new to me anti-inflammatory which correlates almost exactly with the start of my anorgasmia. I have a very arthritic shoulder, which has been keeping me awake at night and the new anti-inflammatory has worked wonders and has allowed me to have very restful nights.
The anorgasmia has allowed me to last much longer and the feeling is as fantastic as it always has been. The hard part has been to keep my wife from focusing on the orgasm and not the rest of the pleasures. As you can imagine, she blames herself and we know that is not the problem and she is doing everything possible to get me off.
Here is what I find interesting though. My wife will have 2-3 long duration orgasms and will I go as long as I can supporting my weight off of her. When I finally pull out as we both collapse in exhaustion, I have a wonderful sense of satisfaction that comes over me, very much the same relief as after having an orgasm. This feeling will stay with me the rest of the day as we normally have sex after breakfast, when we are both well rested. And here is what has become the good part of the anorgasmia for me; I get hornier sooner because I didn’t cum, which has resulted in a lot more sex for both of us. Instead of our normal 2 times a week we are now doing it 3-4 times because there is no refractory time for me. This has been a hidden benefit for us because we both like to fuck.
I will try to go off the anti-inflammatory to see if that brings back my orgasms, it will be hard because I have been sleeping so well since I have been on it and I remain sexually satisfied.

What I find interesting about anorgasmia
Used Viagra & Cialis until lost vision in one eye due to AION, therefore can never use pills again, then tri-mix 1 1/2 years until unreliable. Implanted 9/20/22 at 77 years old by Dr. Yafi, UC Irvine. Married 55 years wife 76. 20cm Coloplast Titan.

Same situation with us. I was implanted in October of 2023 at age 79. What you’ve shared is our exact process. I refuse to call it a problem, because we get the job done. We have a vaginal dryness problem which is eased with estrogen creams from a compounding pharmacy in lake forest. Yes, we live very close to each other
We can’t get it on as much as we’d like, because of the dryness, but we’re totally fine with that, because a little is better than what we had before.
If you’d like to chat over coffee sometime, I’d welcome the sharing

To rephrase the question, "Can sex be satisfying without an orgasm?"
The first time I couldn't cum from sex was about 7 years ago. I was devastated and was in a terribly grumpy mood for days. As this has become a more common occurrence (maybe 30% of the time these days) I'm learning to live with it. I'm not quite to the point of being able to enjoy the experience without the climax, but it's not too bad now. I can foresee a future where the sex is enjoyable in-and-of itself.
Erections are a challenge but with pills, injections, increased refractory periods, etc., I can get hard most of the time. It really came as a surprise to me that sensitivity would decline to the point of not being able to cum in a mouth or a pussy. They feel great but that doesn't guarantee getting to the promised land. Interestingly, I've always had a thing for BJ's but, now, coming in a mouth is nearly impossible for me.
