Hello All
i have just started using trimix (39 year old fit male with no health issues)
i have had no major experience in penetrative sex except one bad marriage where penetrative sex was poor.
at the doctors office when i tried trimix i had no pain but a little soreness after 2 hour erection
however at home with GF i had moderate soreness and a little pain after the penetration sex (plenty of penetration sex in 2 hours). i am also taking a little more dosage at home compared to what i took at the doctors office.
is this soreness related to penetration and is normal or is this trimix related? will this soreness subside the next day or two? is there any medication to take to relieve this? i am feeling it more towards the head of my penis
please advise
Trimix pain or penetration soreness
Re: Trimix pain or penetration soreness
There could be some soreness resulting from the extensive use of a dick that hasn't had a good workout in years. However, having some soreness as a side effect of the injection meds, usually the alprostadil (PGE1), is fairly commen. In many, if not most men, the effect will diminish with continued use and often go away altogether. In a minority of men the side effect from the alprostadil never goes away and is intollerable. They have to go with a mix that contains no alprostadil. My guess is you'll be one of the guys where the effect diminishes and goes away with continued use. I think the guys that can never adjust to the drug have a stronger negaative effect from it from the beginning.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.
Re: Trimix pain or penetration soreness
is it possible to add another ingredient in the mix to eliminate any possible soreness?
if yes then will that affect the efficacy of the mix?

Re: Trimix pain or penetration soreness
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer (stage 2 intermediate) early last year at age 45. Radical prostatectomy took place in July of 23 and it's been game on (or off depending how you look at it) ever since.
A few months after my surgery I progressed to injections and started with trimix. Although it was extremely effective I, like you, was left with an extremely sore erection making it very difficult to orgasm. After doing some research, I learned that when ED is a result of nerve damage (as was the case with the prostate surgery), trimix is far more likely to cause soreness and pain during the erection. Even if prostate cancer isn’t an underlying cause I recall reading that somewhere around 20% of trimix users experience that same pain. Guess it has something to do with a reaction to the aprostadil so I asked my doc to switch me to bimix. It's obviously not as potent and I've had to increase my dosage but the good news is there's absolutely zero pain or discomfort - it's been a totally different experience.
Sounds like you can ride it out, as others have suggested, and see if it resolves itself. Or you could tri bimix. It might be the silver bullet.
Best of Luck,
Lobish
