Are implants a long term solution?
Re: Are implants a long term solution?
I credit length loss to a slightly longer but much wider implant so it is a unique case. As I see it the volume is still the same, just stretched wider rather than longer. Aggressive cycling may correct loss but I have not been diligent as I am not using it.

Re: Are implants a long term solution?
Good point was made. Yes, most revisions get 2cm longer than original but I’ve never yet heard of a person getting a revision and then saying wow!… I’m 2cm longer measured after revision. It took me 10 months to get my implant and my tissues stretched out to max after my first…. I feel that if they add 2cm with my revision( hopefully not for many years) it won’t take as long to get my tissues stretched out to where they were before. Please, anybody that’s had a revision chime in here. Did you initially lose as much immediately after surgery as you did o. Your first? How does that work.

Re: Are implants a long term solution?
It certantly is a long term solution thats the anwser.
Will it fail, it certainly will, its a lottery like life itself but the good news is you can replace it just like your phone, your car battery etc. How long will it last, again its a lottery but the vast majority of implatees are happy, this forum is not a good place to judge longevity of the devices or how happy users are because by the very nature of the forum you find here more stories of failures or issues, most of the happy users never show up here on the forum.
How do you decide when to get it is up to you, when you feel you are loosing out on opportunities go for it dive in pick a good surgen and don’t look back.
Good luck

Re: Are implants a long term solution?
I had a Rigicon mallabble revision due to being undersized from the first surgery. Original implant was 6-30-2023 and was 13mm x 17cm. The revised implant 6-10-2024 is 13mm x 20cm although so I do believe I might have gained some.

Not too sound Hitleresque but they are also the final solution.
Perhaps Hitler would have benefited from a penile implant
