I went to a new urologist for a complete workup that included Doppler Ultrasound, Sensitivity testing (QST), psychogenic evaluation and a series of shockwave plus Botox. A follow-up MRI is also scheduled. Some tweaks to my hormones were recommended but the major change is to begin Tri-Mix. I also take daily 10mg Tadalafil.
Over the course of five days, I injected the following formulas:
Mon 30-2-20 x 20 --> Priapism & Phenylephrine 1mg x 2
Tue 30-1-10 x 10 -->erection a little weak
Wed 30-2-20 x 5 -->erection strong for 2.5 hrs
Thu 30-2-20 x 4 --> erection OK for 1 hr
Fri 30-2-20 x 4 --> same
Based on those results and a tweak in the formula because of availability from my chosen pharmacy (Olympia), I ordered NB-243 30-3-20 with a recommended dosage of .03cc (i.e. 3 units on a U-30 syringe). FWIW, I use a 31gauge, 5/16 needle. Here is my first experience at home:
5:38pm injected 30/3/20 x 3
T+45 min - Intercourse & ejaculation (hooray!)
T+2.5 hrs - going strong so I take Sudafed + ice
T+3.5 hrs - going strong, so I jog
T+4.0 hrs - erection mostly down, but up again; ice + jog
T+4.3 hrs - complete resolution
At T+4.1 I was on the verge of taking the phenylephrine antidote but I detected enough progress that I held off. My plan is to reduce to 2 units on the next try. I don't like the fact that I'm having to draw so little product that my titration is hard to precisely calculate, but I've got 10ml of this so I'm too invested in this formula.
Any comments or recommendations from the experienced injectors in this group?

One reason why I did not like using injections.
Never knew if they were going to work too well or not at all.

Re: Beginning the TriMix adventure
I'm starting my Trimix adventure in 2 days, that's when I go in for injection training.
I'm a bit nervous, so I'm open for any advice, tips or questions to ask.

theres not much to injection training but you will have plenty of training on yourself as your journey begins. there will be pain! Now it wont be excruciating like we all imagined before we started to inject. it will be like and forgive the pun, a small pin prick. a needle piercing skin will always be painful but the scale is, again forgive the pun, pretty small. the doc will try a dose based on the information you give him and your condition. hopefully it will be a dose that you have to titrate up, but it may be more than you need. my doc just chose an arbitrary amount that was too much and yes i had an erection for more than 4 hours. it was not painful, so i just took some sudafed and it went down on its own. the first dose on my own was also more than i needed and also lasted more than 4 hours but again, it went down and also was not painful. you will miss, hopefully not too many times. just be prepared. having a VED on hand will be a great tool as having a bigger target area helps immensely. you will find on your own what works by feel. i read plenty of tips here, but they really didnt make sense until i did it myself. its not as big a deal as most make it out to be and i was one of those guys that said, "ill never be able to put a needle in my dick". I’m up to almost 400 injections and injecting is still a but of a chore that i dont necessarily enjoy but the results are amazing. in february it will be 3 years for me and i have not had any major issues or complaints. i have missed a handful of times but i have succeeded 9.9 out of 10 times. i have had bruises and bled but it has not been serious. take your time and be prepared for some great sex. it has been a whirlwind of porn sex since the wife and I started. there is plenty of help right here on this forum as we have all gone through it at some point. take care.

CanGetIt: Yes, trying to draw two units into a 30-unit syringe is a little difficult, but you could increase that, I think, if you cut your tadalafil dose in half - might have to wait a few days since it persists in the body.
Congratulations on your success!

Thanks for the suggestion. That is probably my best course and I have not seen much benefit from the Tadalafil.Martin6469 wrote:you could increase that, I think, if you cut your tadalafil dose in half

Feels funny quoting myself but this is for reference to my 2nd effort with TriMix today:
T+0 - Injected 30/3/20 x 2u (⅓ less than Attempt #1)
T+10 min - Foreplay
T+50 min - Entered the promised land
T+1.1 hrs - Erection declined to 70% but kept going
T+1.3 hrs - Erection 80% and climax
T+1.5 hrs - Erection 10-20%
T+2 hrs - Erection totally resolved
It's hard to be anywhere near precise when judging between 2.0 and 3.0 units on a U30 syringe. But - if these results are characteristic of the two dosages - it seems 2.5 units is called for on the next experiment.

It sounds like things are going pretty well. However, IMHO, it seems you need a weaker mix. Metering and injecting just 2 units consistantly willl be difficult. Any tiny mistake drawing up or actually injecting will have a huge effect. Ideally you want your mix weak enough so that you can inject at least 6 to 10 units.

Re: Beginning the TriMix adventure
I agree, but I'm $250 into it with almost an entire 10ml of TriMix. Is there such a thing as diluting the bottle with bacteriostatic water? (Problem being that the bottle is nearly full.) Or re-mixing from the original bottle with bac water into a third vial ?
Or maybe a smaller than U-30 syringe (to better see the gradient marks for a low volume)?
