Well at T+3 I was expecting worse after Dr K said the locals and blocks would start to wear off but so far, Tylenol and Advil is holding things down. After seeing some of the photos on here, I was honestly expecting to see I had been beaten with a baseball bat while out of it but maybe because of the infrapubic approach, the ball sack isn't suffering from swelling or coloration. Maybe I just got lucky that day - I was number 2 of 3 on his list so maybe he warmed up with number 1 and wasn't too tired after doing two previous )
I have to say, if you are in the Austin area more than Houston (and my insurance didn't cover Clavell) I would suggest a consult with Dr Kansas of Urology Austin. He has some YouTube videos out there. I was already a patient of the practice so I consider myself fortunate he was there.
Hopefully T+4 is as uneventful...

Four weeks tomorrow since the op and I've been pleased that my overall pain/swelling has been minimal and haven't needed the stash of painkillers that Dr Kansas wrote up, just the initial Tylenols kept things under control. Saw Dr Kansas last week who was happy with the recovery (I was a little concerned about infection due to being diabetic and healing more slowly) and the placement. My Tenacio pump is upside down I suppose and feels a huge third nut in there, jostling for position. I'm still doing a John Wayne impersonation sometimes with the wide stance but that's getting less noticeable.
I'm now supposed to be doing 15 minutes a day homework and Dr K has said I can "take it for a test drive if I feel comfortable " - pump bulb still seems incredibly hard to cycle and those ridges in the pump body still make my imagination water but I guess over time my scrotum will cope with them. That's the only lingering effect is the slight tenderness I think from one of the original nuts being jostled around.
I also wasn't sure if the deflate button on the Tenacio is "locking" or do you have to keep it pressed in order to deflate with one hand then use the other to crinkle up the sausage...
Interested to hear from any other Tenacio users if things soften up over time....I'm hoping I don't have a kink in the plumbing so I don't want to lean on the pump too hard..

how can the pump be upside down? wouldn't it affect the tubing?
how is the cosmetic outcome of the surgery? Any excess tubing that's visible?
