Resolution for me finally

Postby JohnHC » Tue Dec 03, 2024 12:27 pm

Finally I will have a resolution and settlement. I have to sign settlement paperwork then 9 to 23 days later I'm supposed to have a check that should allow me to get this hopefully final revision done. And of course I can not discuss the settlement except to say that we've reached one. But yay finally my nightmare should be over soon, won't be able to see the Dr until after it's deposited so I can pay and depending on the Drs schedule the surgery probably won't happen until end of Jan 2025, so basically a year after the second failure, but again hopefully this will be all over with very soon.

This is great news! You finally got your way! It's a shame you have to go through what you're going through now. What implant are you planning on getting this time? What are your length and girth measurements? Would you be happy with the CX if it hadn't broken? I'm deciding between the CX and the Titan (my girth is 6.2 inches). I'm leaning toward the CX, but your situation is concerning. At the same time, I understand that each situation is individual.

AntonS, look up Rodsman. He has a CX & his girth is larger than mine. I just don't remember how much larger.

Lots of poor assumptions are made about the size of each brand of cylinders diameters. Think about this. If you have a flacid girth of 5" then you get a CX. Even accounting for the smaller cylinders you'll have more girth than a guy with a flacid girth of 3.5" getting a Titan. The 5" guy has a 1.5" headstart in this race. Its simple math & logic.

I hope to get the LGX this time, it's the one I really wanted all along but allowed myself to get talked into the CX. My length is just over 7" not sure on girth but I would guess between 5 and 6 inches around. I was extremely happy with my CX for the 6 or so months that it worked - pumped up to max it was way harder than any natural erection I ever had gave meaning to the saying "rock hard." As far as my situation goes, I believe the first failure was either a real defect in the cylinder or, most likely, a error on the hospitals part ( I believe they may have given me a pain blocker shot after the surgery and hit the device ) as to the second implant I again believe either a true defect or possibly surgeon error, either the connector used to connect the pump and reservoir was defective or possibly the surgeon made a mistake in the connection like maybe not seating the connector fully on the tubing. But yes my issue was concerning and something totally unheard of by the surgeon and from Boston Scientific as neither have had two failures so close together. Hope this helps you decide. For me the Titan was never a choice as the dog ears, not laying naturally ( the look of it when flaccid ) and all the issues I heard with the tubing breaking or failing. Either way you go, get a good surgeon and you most likely won't have any issues and you'll have great results.

Glad you are getting this straightened out.. I have had them both now, Titan and AMS LGX, I agree with you, AMS is a more natural feeling and looking penis than the Titan, but I liked the Titan when it worked. Who was your doctor? Who are you going to next?

I have been chatting with Rodsman and have seen his photos on Bluesky. His CX does look great. But I still have my doubts. I took some photos today after taking tadalafil and crossing my legs to maintain an erection. My girth is indeed above average. I measured it again. 16 cm. I looked at the photos again and again I have doubts about how CX will help me maintain it. I want to get an online consultation with Clavell, but I'm afraid that he will not recommend Titan. Maybe I'm wrong.

did you feel a difference in erection hardness at max pump between Titan and LGX? You have 5 cm rte with lgx. Did it affect the erection angle? I read that if you use a lot of rte, there will be no sharp erection angle, i.e. the penis will point downwards when activated. Tell me, please, did you have dog ears with Titan? how uncomfortable are they and what other advantages in a flaccid state can you note in favor of lgx compared to Titan?

Hello Anton
In my shower tonight I cycle and got 20 pumps in, that has been all I have been getting in for a month now. I cannot tell the difference between the Titan and the LGX, I mean it is like a railroad spike when it is pumped. Yes my penis hangs down when flaccid, when pumped it is a a slight downward angle. Has not bothered me or my wife . Now the dog ears, with the Titan I did have the dog ears but they go away when you pump but when I would deflate the dog ears were there. Also with the Titan my pump would squeak when pumping, my wife would hear it and laugh like hell, her squeaky toy. If I was single and that happened I am not sure how I would react but with the woman I love, that's different. With the LGX I have no dog ears ( yet) and no squeaky pump (yet). The AMS feels and looks more natural, my wife enjoys the AMS, because of the feels she says. If and when this one fails I would go back with the AMS. That is just my opinion but realistically by everything I have read on this and other forums I would stick with AMS. Just my opinion.

Wilsonmill, thank you very much for your answers! Glad you are doing well with LGX. and that your wife likes it more :) In fact, the implants look more natural. I have seen at least 150-200 photos of different manufacturers and models)) talked to different people. But I must admit that some guys do not have dog ears from Titan. Did you have a classic pump on Titan that squeaked? Did you get lost when switching to LGX? What was it like with Titan and what is it like with LGX?

I believe I had the classic pump, I can't honestly say. I would have to go back and find the paperwork. As far as learning between the 2 devices, they are close to the same , the block is a little different between the 2 as well as the deflation button, but really if you had one of them you would pick it up quickly, either of them.
