First of all, thank you all for your kind words and support messages. It in interesting that four of us (RMJ9224, equusAz, and Chieftom, and myself) are having surgery within such a narrow time frame!
I woke up about two hours ago ago and I am now resting in my single room. I felt stoned when I woke up and had a sharp pain in the crotch but I was given morphine and just now some Nefopam, so pain right now is manageable.
The surgeon briefly talked to me after I woke up to tell me everything worked smoothly, and I received a 24cm AMS 700 CX, with no RTE! This is awesome, my back of the envelop math suggested I should get a 24cm implant, given that my erect (visible) penis is about 16.5cm (6.5 inches). So I’m quite confident I’ve been properly sized and won’t suffer from floppy glans, but we’ll see.
I will spend another night at the clinic and head back home by taxi tomorrow morning (I live by myself). I bought enough food for 10 days, I have a PS5, a projector, lots of movies, a bass guitar, and plenty of books to read so I won’t be bored!
I am super glad I did this, (so far) it was not too bad honestly, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and you obviously don’t see/hear any of the surgery as you are under general anesthesia. I did not get much sleep last night but I didn’t even take any benzodiazepines.
I will keep you posted as the recovery goes on!

30 years old French with ED caused by priapism episodes at the age of 15. Implanted with 21cm + 3cm RTEs AMS 700 CX MS pump on 05/12/2024 by Dr Sébastien Beley. Pills had lost most of their potency, injections worked but were painful and inconvenient.

initially, sitting is hard work, standing is harder work. Make sure you got your self a donut pillow or something to that effect to take the pressure off. I was doing most days sitting but come evening time about 4pm onwards everything started to really hurt just from pressures so I'd spend the rest of the evening laying in bed. My one advice I'd personally give beyond this point other than the normal ice this rest ect. is EAT, eat lots loads of protein make sure the bodies got everything it needs to heal as quick as possible. Best of luck on your road to recovery

Thanks! Penoscrotal approach, my penis is positioned straight up towards my belly, and it is 100% DEFLATED. I know that many of you had the implant inflated say 50/60% from day one, but my surgeon prefers to keep it deflated to help the recovery. It will have no impact on my length and should allow me to start cycling after 4 weeks, if pain allows.

Definitely interesting and a strange fluke.
Glad to hear your surgery went well. I'm a bit of a wuss and finally gathered up the courage to watch an implant video. It was fascinating if hard to watch. I'm always fascinated by medical procedures but hate the sight of blood. Now that I know full well how the whole thing is done I'm less worried.
The husband and I have cats, but luckily have a large house with guest rooms (for family / friends) and we have a nice attic bedroom with full bath where I'm slated to recover in. The whole area can be closed off from the house and I can recover there - and the stairway is 10 feet from the bedroom where the other half will be so if I need anything I can shout (or call from my cell phone).
I have plenty of books on my kindle, and full subscription to hulu, netflix, and amazon prime so I have things to watch on the TV up there to distract me.
I've also been a bit nervous about sizing but - hell - screw it - I'm just ready to get this over with.
Lucky in that you got to stay a bit in the hospital - here in the states it's considered ambulatory surgery - so I go in, get it done, then leave for home on the same day with a 'blocker' for pain. I don't do well with pain and have a condition that makes NSAIDS less effective so...I'm a bit nervous about pain management - so we'll see.
Did you go home with a catheter?
Keep us all posted on your recovery!

Hey, sounds like you have a cozy setup to rest when you leave the hospital! I love cats haha. I don’t like the sight of blood and I don’t tolerate pain very well I think, it’s brave of you to have watched a video of the surgery!
You’re lucky to have your husband to take care of you, bring you to the hospital and back home. I don’t have that as I only told my two sisters who live abroad. If I really feel too bad then I may ask some help from cousins who live in Paris.
I’m still at the clinic, I will spend the night there. In France they typically make you come the day before surgery and keep you one night after to monitor you and make sure you get some rest. I still have a catheter and something near/on my penis (a drain?). Both will be removed tomorrow morning when I check out. I just have to go to a pharmacy to get a supply of antibiotics and painkillers.
Pain wise, it sure hurts to stand up or move. I’ve lying flat on my hospital bed since the surgery. I peed a little and weirdly it wasn’t so painful per se, there was no blood. But bending or even touching my penis hurts for sure.
Don’t worry about size, the vast majority of patients don’t lose anything after months of cycling, and if you lose some it will be limited. In my case I received a 24cm implant, exactly what I had expected. The surgeon told me he slightly oversized me as my total penis length is 23.5cm.
Best of luck! If you want to communicate on WhatsApp (messages or calls), send me your number in a PM!

Day 2 update:
I am finally back home after having spent a night at the clinic after the surgery. I am glad that I didn't have to leave the clinic right after the surgery, this would've been brutal. Spending 24h in a medical bed with morphine, good French meals, and regular visits from nurses, the anesthetist, and my surgeon was priceless. I highly recommend Dr. Sébastien Beley and his medical team, they are super competent and the staff at the Clinique Turin are lovely.
I Ubered back home and made a stop at a pharmacy to get some painkillers and antibiotics. I was given a bottle of betadine (i.e. Povidone-iodine) to wash my genitals once per day, using short showers (no baths are allowed for some time). I will spend my days icing my penis and testicles, reading, watching movies, playing video games and sleeping. The pain is not too bad to be fair, I would rather describe it as discomfort, especially in the reservoir area (I am quite skinny so I can really feel the reservoir against my skin). I had a brief feeling at the pump when I showered earlier, it is quite bulky lol, no way a woman could not feel it but I honestly do not care, as long as I can get hard. My scrotum is obviously not looking good, it is swollen and you can clearly see it was cut open. The penis feels different for sure, I can feel the tubing but nothing to be scared off.
One thing that I keep thinking about: my surgeon said he slightly oversized me: he gave me a 24cm implant, while he said my total penis length (distal + proximal) is 23.5cm. Is it a good thing? Obviously, too much oversizing is bad as it could lead to erosion. But 0.5cm sounds reasonable, no? Has anyone had a similar experience?
I have a follow up appointment with my surgeon next Wednesday, and then another one early January to activate the implant is everything had properly healed.
I will keep you posted!

We do have similar measurements. My surgeon said i was 23.5cm as well and he decided to install the 24cm Titan. Cycling will be painful but i could not be happier with the beast i have LOL.

Ok glad to hear! Haha I can't wait to use the beast too! How long ago did you receive your implant? Does it feel natural and pain-free now?

I got mine about 16 months ago and yes everything feels great now and pain free. Even the stubborn dog ears of the titan are no issue anymore.
