Today is your lucky day. Hope all went well. When you are able to walk around for exercise, I walked around the dining room table doing laps. Chairs to hold on to for support. And when you have to sit at the table, get you a donut pillow and cut out the front middle section. The donut pillow is cushion and the cut out section will give your balls a place to fall and drop. Without any added pressure and the ball sack has a place to fall freely. Good luck.

Frozen peas in the freezer, prescriptions picked up. I even invested in a new powered recliner sofa.
Thanks to all of you, I believe I am quite mentally prepared for the challenges ahead, after reading all the info I can read from FT.

The recliner will probably be your friend.
I didn't need the frozen peas though.
I hope you like your new and improved dick as much as I do mine.

Sorry for not updating earlier. Thanks for all your comments and encouragement.
I got an AMS700 LGX implant (infrapubic) by Dr Bryan Kansas on Dec 10, 2024. My recovery seems to be progressing well. I was prepared to endure pain, with Hydrocodone, Ibuprofen and Tylenol ready at the bedside. However, I did not need to use any! Perhaps I have a skillful surgeon, or maybe I was more pain tolerant.
The only discomfort I had was my scrotum skin felt like someone had sprinkled chilli powder on it. Maybe the skin has stretched to its limit, causing micro tears.

Day 0
Wheeled to the Operating Room (OR) at 12:00 pm after all the initial prep work. Woke up at 1:30 pm with bandages and surgical drain. Dr Kansas told me he removed the catheter while I was still under anesthesia. Happy to know that since I heard this step is not pleasant.
After resting for a little longer, my wife drove me back to the hotel but on the way, noticed that there was a huge bulge in my scrotum and my bandage was pushed out. Immediately, rushed back to the surgical center and fortunately, Dr. Kansas was still around.
He took a look and was very surprised. He told me I have a serious case of scrotal hematoma and need to re-open the suture to clean it out. The staff at the surgical center told me, he has to attend another procedure (he has a total of six that day, from what I was told) so he will work on me in about one hour. I was wheeled back to the OR at around 5:00 pm and woke up at 6:30 pm.
Two things went right that day. I only drank some water immediately after I woke up, but did not eat anything. Since I am practicing intermittent fasting, I do not usually eat the whole day except between 6 to 12pm. So, the staff was able to put me back to the operating room after checking multiple times that I have not eaten since my 1st surgery..
The other is, I was able to catch Dr. Kansas while he was still there. My worry now is whether my insurance will cover the 2nd procedure.
Day 0 went by with no other issues. Staff at the surgical center was very friendly and helpful. Dr Kansas acted professionally and quickly to the scrotal hematoma incident. Luckily, he decided to quickly address the issue, or otherwise if not addressed, it will take months to resolve.
Regarding pain management, Dr Kansas said he only gave me a short half life pain medication. I was only prescribed hydrocodone-acetaminophen (28 tablets for 7 days) and a 6-day supply of antibiotics. Nurse told me to take one before sleeping that night, but realised I did not need it.
Even though the catheter was removed when I woke up from the 1st surgery, peeing that day was very painful and the pee dripped out rather than in a single stream, wetting my bandage. However, pee was normal, not brownish as some of you have reported.

Day 1 (day after surgery)
Still no pain! I was mentally prepared for the challenge. Checked out of the hotel and proceeded to Dr. Kansas office to have my drain and bandage removed. Everything seems fine.
I told him about the painful pee, and if the over the counter Azo tablets are recommended. Thankfully, he has some in hand to give me. Took it on my way to the car, and planned to make a rest stop in an hour to see if it helps. It DID work! Pee was dark brown due to Azo, but it was flowing and less painful.
Spend the rest of the day resting on my recliner. Unfortunately, my back pain (not related to the surgery) flared up again and I did not really have a good rest. Ice regularly.

Day 2-5
Scrotum swells to grapefruit size. An oversized boxer brief, with a jock strap above it works well to support my heavy scrotum. Had to cut a hole through the jock strap to allow my slightly erected dick to peek out. Walk around the house more frequently to avoid getting bed sore. Or rather, waddle around like a penguin.

Day 6-8
Scrotum swelling seems to reduce little by little everyday. Fortunately, as before, I do not experience any pain, other than the burning sensation on the skin of my scrotum. I found that applying Lidocaine helps relieve this pain somewhat.
Stopped applying cold packs on Day 7 but started with heat packs occasionally.
I made the heat packs by sewing a 250mm x 125mm bag using a new kitchen tower, filling it with uncooked rice before sealing the bag. Put the bag into a microwave oven for 2-3 minutes before placing it on top of my scrotum while lying down.
At the same time, I also make a smaller bag and apply the heat pack to where the reservoir sits.

Will update progress in a few days. Scheduled for a follow-up visit with Dr. Kansas on Dec 26.

Great update Blue, glad you are doing good and not having a lot of pain, that's fantastic. You have the same implant as I do, except you have the new pump. Looking forward to your post when you start cycling, which will be a while, not unless your doctor has a different protocol. I got deflated and device training at the 6 week mark, I could barely get in 10 pumps because I still had pain, it sounds like you won't have that problem.
