It’s worth mentioning that my doctor said he noticed no scar tissue inside my penis, which I was concerned about since the whole reason I have ED is because of a bicycle accident. I was sure I would be doomed in this respect and that my penis would be a graveyard of old scar tissue. But there was none.

happy for u my brother....i pray u have a recovery like charm

Oh that's the other thing — I was told explicitly NOT to use ice, which is interesting. But yes my brother, soon you'll be in the gang! I'm looking forward to being cleared for sex so I can call my girlfriends and ask them if they notice anything different 8-)

yes ur girl friends will notice one thing that u are hard like CN TOWER :D :D :D :D :D

This is hilarious! Since I’m a Chicago guy, however, I insist that we refer to my penis as the Hancock!

since i live in toronto so CN TOWER came in my mind so from today onward u will be MR HANCOCK :D :D :D :D :D

After the local anesthesia wears off (usually in 2–3 days), make sure to keep your prescription pain meds or Ibuprofen/Tylenol with you at all times. Try to limit movement until you’ve figured out how to manage any discomfort effectively.

Out of curiosity, what reasoning did your surgeon give for recommending Genesis over Tactra, which you initially had in mind? I’d love to hear his clinical reasoning, if you don’t mind sharing.

Thank you! This is all very helpful. I’ve been in my chair with my legs/feet elevated all afternoon and feel great. Trying to limit movement as much as possible.

My surgeon recommended the Genesis at the last minute because he did a bend test on the Tactra and the Genesis and called me to say that he thinks I should have the more concealable one. It’s something I’ve heard here a bunch, and honestly felt really protected hearing this from my doctor.

Now you’ve got me all nervous about the local anesthetic wearing off…lol

Good to know about the bend test. One thing that puzzled me is why it bends for the Indian doctor on YouTube but not in my doctor’s office. Maybe it’s due to different batches?

Oh, sorry for hinting about the local. When I had my shoulder surgery, movement was the biggest trigger. Driving in my jittery Mustang didn’t help either, so reducing movements is definitely a good plan.

Haha, my first boss was Hancock, and he was a Chicago native.

Your going too love your Genisis, It will be a year of trouble free fucking in Febuary for me and my Genisis.
You made the right choice going straight to the MPP, especially since you are paying out of pocket.
Your confidence and pride will return and you'll feel like a new man, you shouldn't need much of anything for the pain, ice and elevate was my friend.
Read thru a few of my posts, I went thru 4 IPP's,,,, yeah,,, Sometimes,,, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed,,,, I was convinced that I would end up loosing all sorts of size, really read too much into that,,, and that is everyones question here,, Turned out o be a waste of worring,, I lost about 1/2 of girth,,, what a fool I feel like going thru that 4 times, but that is all part of the game I guess.
The very worst part of my journey was the depression when each one of those IPP's failed, it was devastating to say the least,,,
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.
For those that are asking, I'm going to change the wifeys avatar weekly.

Day 2 - things seem good but peeing is difficult and painful because of the use of a catheter during the procedure. The nurse called to check on me. Apparently this is normal. No bleeding or anything. Bandages still clean. Been peeing into a mason jar that I wash as often as possible since my piss flies everywhere otherwise.

This might help, Duke if Mason's jar is making a mess. I got one!
