I have. Titan was a bigger stronger and thicker erection, but AMS feels more natural in the deflated state
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

I'd probably pick AMS from the start. I think Titan could be good if you are naturally a really thick guy and your penis tissue is thick enough to cover up the hard crinkles of the titan. But for average guys AMS will be more comfortable

I read in your posts that you got CX after Titan. Is that right? How much girth did you lose after replacing? What was the girth with Titan and what is it now with CX? Doesn't the ams pump seem bulkier compared to the coloplast? Which pump did you like more? Is 100% activated CX really less rigid than Titan? Many people write that they are almost the same in rigidity
37 years old. In the past, an active and very athletic guy, suffered after vein ligation. After that, I tried embolization, which did not help. Now I am choosing between CX and Titan

The studies show that the Titan can get marginally more rigid than the CX. That being said, in my case my wife does not like the implant rock hard, she prefers 80% inflation so anything beyond that is of really no use to me. Using Dr. Clavell's example of one prosthesis being a BMW and the other a Mercedes, would you choose the BMW because it's top speed is 160 when the Mercedes' top speed is 155? Odds are pretty good you'll NEVER need that capability in either car.
My wife says it feels like a skin covered plastic dildo when it's maxxed out, which is exactly what it is!

2/22/23 AMS 700 CX 21cm + 1.5cm RTEs. was 58 yrs old, wife of 37 yrs. Penoscrotal. 100ml Conceal reservoir. Dr. Clavell. Pills failing and went right to implant. 18 mos post op: 7 3/4" x 5 7/8", now 60yrs old in 2025

I had sent you a PM a couple of months ago to discuss further. I'm leaning towards the Titan.
I see you got your Titan in 2021 from Dr. Eid. When did you get the AMS? Did your Titan fail or you switched to the AMS because you didn't like the Titan?
55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant. 6.4 inches bone pressed length to tip, 5 inches girth base, 4.5 inches girth mid-shaft.

I got the AMS in August of 2024. I switched mostly because I didn't like the titan, it didn't fail.

I see. A few more questions. Would super appreciate if you could please answer.
1) Was the Titan painful in it's flaccid state around the dog ears or was it just the aesthetics that led you to the change?
2) I saw in one of the posts you stated loss of leftover corporal tissue and sensation. Do you attribute that to the Titan expanding more in the radial direction and compressing your corporal tissue?
3) I presume you got the CX given your length. What size AMS did you get with Clavell? Did he use any RTEs?
4) With your loss of corporal tissue (if I'm being correct), did you end up with less girth with the CX?
5) Could you post some erect and flaccid pics of both Titan and the CX? I think it would help a lot of folks who are trying to decide between the two.
6) I'm 6.25 inches in length, 5 inches girth around base and 4.5 inches mid shaft. Here are some pics: https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=25067&hilit=kink&start=10#p236654. Any thoughts on if I'll have prominent dog ears?
7) Are you open towards discussing your experience with Clavell through PM?

Re: who has had both AMS and Titan?
Had my initial implant in Feb of 2019, it was the Titan and it failed March of 2024, AMS LGX revision June of 2024. The Titan was good when it worked, it has its pro's and cons, krinkly feel in flaccid state, squeaky pump when pumping, dog ears and per the wife not a natural feel. The good is that I could have an erection again. The AMS is more natural feeling, no krinkly feel, no dog ears, quiet pump and the wife says it feels more natural. This is my observations.
Age 64, type 1 diabetic, Married 20+ years, Titan implant 23 cm 27Feb2019, Duke Medical Hospital, Dr Lentz, failed March of 2024, revision 25Jun24 AMS700 LGX 18cm 5rte's Dr Andrew Chang associated urology Raleigh NC, Rex Hospital
