Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone here has dealt with something similar. I have a Titan Plus implant, and I’ve noticed that my left tip is about 1/4 inch shorter than my right tip. The right tip is positioned nicely at the base of the glans, but the left one falls slightly behind, causing a bit of unevenness.
I understand that, ideally, the tips should be even for proper support and function. Has anyone else experienced this with their implant? If so, what might be causing it? Is there anything I can do to address the issue or encourage better alignment?
I’ve been gently manipulating the shaft daily to ensure everything stays flexible and to help prevent any scar tissue or fibrosis, but so far, there hasn’t been any noticeable change.
Any advice, insight, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Left Tip Shorter Than Right Tip - Titan Plus
Hello, I think uneven tips is a common problem, mine are also not even but mayby by 1/8 inch.
I dont think there is much you can do except for a revision, sometimes its not possible to cut throuh scar tissue or the surgeon doesnt want to damage urethra so he stops cutting prematurely.
The only thing that comes to my mind that could help is to do Perito exercises but its questionable whether it would help.
Personally, I would not worry about the issue, if you have good glans bloodflow and its supported the unevenness of tips doesnt matter.

I also wouldn't worry about it just yet. Have yous tarted inflating? Is the tip 1/4 low WELL below the glans? If not, even if its only slightly lower, the only time I would worry is if you have floppy glans. My right one is shorter but has more extention to it. Go figure.

I had to have my original Rigicon implant 6-2023 replaced 6-2024 due to undersizing ..original implant was 13mm x 17cm new one is 13mm x 20cm on the right and 19cm on the left ... all smoke and mirrors .. and if your in a teaching hospital like I was you sign away all of your rights and the dr's tend not to give you honest answers so you don't know for sure who is doing your surgery in the end .. like a great big crap shoot ..roll the dice hope for the best ..
Rigicon since 6-2023 happy to share my experience and do show and tell

As far as sizing goes it is possible (as shown as other replies) to have different measurements for the right and left cylinders. And men will have different sizes and that is the reason for RTE's. As RTE's are available in .5 cm increments most doctors will advise they will get the right and left cylinder tips within .5 cm of each other. A few doctors will cut the proximal RTE end of the cylinders to achieve a perfect fit. A lot of men however will be in the group that will have the right and left cylinder tips slightly different. And they do well with it like that. For me the issue was that I had nothing before and even though my implant was not perfect I can now have erections.
Let the full healing process complete itself. This is in the span of 3 to 6 months. Most doctors will not reoperate for 6 months unless there is an infection or failure. So, you have time to get used to the device. Then if you can find a doctor that trims the cylinders for prefect fit and will do a revision you can have it done. Maybe just do one side to match the other.

Re: Left Tip Shorter Than Right Tip - Titan Plus
I was waiting for a reply addressing RTE's. This is how the dr fine tunes the fit of the IPP. Newbie443 explains it quite well. If I convert metric correctly. .5cm is little over 3/16" in USA measuring. Personally I don't think it would hurt the manufacturers to make two .25 RTE's for each surgery kit. But they don't ask or care about my opinion.
OP does not say what brand he has so trimming the cylinder end might not of been possible. I've only heard of Titans being trimmed. Also, other than Dr Eid, I can't say that I've heard of any other drs that do trimming. But there could be a few. Reading FT for a long time it seems that not being even isn't very common.

Re: Left Tip Shorter Than Right Tip - Titan Plus
I'd like to see the surgical notes to see if the surgeon used the same size for both cylinders. My surgeon used different lengths on each side. That makes me know he measured each side instead of simply measuring once and calling it good enough.
