Had my first checkin with the surgeon and first pumping. A mixed bag, to be honest.
They said everything is looking good and I'm ready to go, including (for the record of anyone else reading this):

- sex and masturbation
- getting anal
- being tied for balls and cock (shibari, sleeves, cbt etc)
- cockrings (for the engorgement)

Doctor gave the okay for ‘tying balls and cock’? Maybe I’m vanilla, but seems to me like this is just asking for early mechanical failure of the pump. Not sure about the cock ring, I’ve seen some guys with implants mention using them , I used with injections but wouldn’t take a chance with an implant…I’m only 9 days in of a rough recovery and haven’t activated yet, but I got in an implant so I wouldn’t have to deal with cock rings and injections (that, for me, didn’t even give good results)…I’m okay with less engorgement as long as I’m firm enough for penetration. I do intend to continue daily 5mg of Cialis.
Good luck to ya!

Day 34

Pain is still not getting any better, which is pretty annoying. Particularly it keeps me from sleeping as I can’t find a position where my penis doesn’t hurt.

I can cycle to the max okay and it doesn’t necessarily hurt but then decides half an hour later to go haywire. Sometimes the cycling itself also hurts. All in all this constant pain and it keeps me from doing most of the things I actually enjoy. Do not recommend.

Someone tells me that apparently older guys feel the pain less because they’re more stretchy – not sure that’s true but it would definitely explain the amount of pain I seem to have compared to most other people.

I am pretty close to my old length when fully pumped, which is actually pretty cool, I’m missing maybe a centimetre, which I think would not be out of the ordinary to regain.

However, my cock now has a distinct left with bend and I have no idea how to get rid of it. It’s not an annoying curve, but it’s more than I would want. Hopefully will know after the Christmas break from doctor I can do about it.

Masturbation kind of works but really isn’t fun because there’s so much pain.

Hoping it’s worth it in the long run, this is teaching me patience under duress.

I just wanted to doublecheck and document for any more kinky people here on this forum, and he says it’s okay and that these things are pretty indestructible, within reason. I’m not really thinking of doing anything extreme like being hung from my testicles or something, so I hope I should be good. :D

Everyone is different with pain. Some people can be affected by it a lot more than others, and do remember, there are different TYPES of pain. In this case I'm wondering if what you are experiencing is nerve pain...

What pain meds do they have you on?
What does the pain feel like?
Where is the pain located?

For me I had some of the worst pain I ever experienced coming right out of surgery because - ironicly - Lidocane has a minimal effect on me (dentist's office once ran out) and it took a big dose of Dilauded / Tylenol to get it bearable - the first 48 hours were the WORST. Now? Its better but with 2 weeks out I do still get some stabs of pain once in a while and my penis itches / burns at times - I have a lot of numbness there and I think thats nerves waking up.

The thing is, outside if checking for infection, I don't think surgeon's/specialists in Australia see their patients emough afterwards to form such opinions.

The fellowship culture is very old school, and there's no interest in research in this area to warrent follow up consultations, and of course no medicare number for it, and the only concern by the surgeon is infection or malfunction.

Yeah, that mirrors a bit what I experience in my own field as well. Australia is just very far away and not having enough competition for people to go above and beyond.

Regarding the difference of pain, maybe it is a difference in pain perception, but I basically go to bed with strong pain and wake up with strong pain and it’s slowly grinding me down, particularly because I don’t find many people who have this problem otherwise. Maybe I’ll try different pain meds, thanks for the recommendation!

Are they 100% sure there's no infection? This is my biggest worry about what you are posting.

Day 38

Pain is massively going down, thank God (or whoever else runs the universe)!

I can cycle all the way up until it’s impossible to pump and keep it there for 15 minutes or so until it gets painful, but nowhere near what it was before. Pain levels when deflated have moved to annoying level, and no longer “I want to lie down and cry” level.

So hopefully no infection and it stays this way.

I am about 2 cm off from my previous length, and part of that is because my penis now bends leftwards at the top. Right now, that’s probably my main gripe with the surgery because I was straight as an arrow before and I would like that back.

Girth is literally the same as before, 13 cm (and maybe a teeny bit more).

Now that the pain is not as bad, I would say I’m 85% to happiness. Erections are great hard haven’t lost too much length, and engorgement starts reappearing. Not having had sex yet, but masturbation is good in fact, interestingly, orgasms are actually slightly better than before, presumably because the tissues are expanded the entire time rather than constantly flopping down because of ED.

Assuming the left curve can be fixed I think I’m gonna be pretty happy with my decision to be honest. Fingers crossed.

Anyone here has experience with getting a curve after the implant and then it’s straightening out again?

Good news. I think the thing is now, in coming months, is to cycle it as regularly as you can, to help straighten it out and help get the length back.

Day 41

Pain has turned to a dull ache that only gets painful in certain positions. When I inflate there is still a burning sensation at the tip or when I try to find a position to lie down in…very bearable though.

Very much enjoying the feeling of having a eternal hard on, being someone who’s never had that I feel like I have magical powers now – I’m amazed that most guys seem to have this their entire life!

Try to inflate as much as I could today and getting pretty close to original size but the bend remains. However, when fully inflated and aroused, I think I am probably bigger than I was before. I have not measured it because I was in the moment but I’m definitely not far off from my original size which is pretty cool. Girth is already slightly more than it was.

Honestly, at this point all I want is a slight pain reduction and the pain to go away and I will be 100% happy, which is pretty cool and way better than expected!
