Dr. Clavell mentioned that he did surgery on a gentleman for his 10th IPP revision. I don't know the specifics about size loss, infection, scarring and decrease in sensation. I also don't know if he was young, athletic and in perfect health overall. He was doing 'fine' according to Dr. Clavell. He truly deserves awards for his optimism, resilience, and unwavering determination!

Which doctor handled your re-implant?

What did your treatment protocol look like? VED use? How long between infection and reinstall? Did you use traction. Etc.

Second implant always gave urinary problems, bleeding... According to the doctor, infection He removed the prosthesis. I went 9 months without any prosthesis. I followed the plan that the doctor outlined: cialis 20 mg, 20 minutes VED every day (many days I did 30 minutes), gently because LESS IS ALWAYS MORE, stretching exercises. I didn't lose any length and I gained a lot of thickness. I didn't do cycling because the doctor didn't talk to me about it, nor did I find forums like this. I think the protocols have changed. It's a shame because I'm convinced that with cycling I would have achieved a more aesthetic penis. I will discuss with the doctor soon if cycling can be effective after the next implant.
At 15-16 curvature, hourglass... Loss of length, later weak erections
At 27 Peyronie's diagnosis
2006 malleable AMS incorrectly implanted.
2008 EXCEL MENTOR. Infection, urinary problems, bleeding... It had to be explanted.
2009 TITAN COLOPLAST

as you can see the doctors respond based on their own convenience that requires at that moment, if we think about it, they often shoot themselves in the foot, he replied that he has done 10 revisions, here there are a lot of them with 2/3/4 revisions within 2/5 years, I wonder how they can claim that a system lasts 10 to 15 years

In any set of statistical data, outliers are inevitable, as illustrated by the bell curve. All biological phenomena tend to follow a bell curve distribution, where the averages differ significantly from the outliers.

When they say implants have a 10-year revision rate, let's hope they are discussing averages from their clinical experience and not the far-right outliers.

so their statements leave no stone unturned, on the other hand if in Italy both ams and coloplast give 5 year guarantees on devices, it means that they have found that 5 can be achieved, beyond that is a surplus

5 years in Italy for Coloplast is interesting. The AMS website in the US doesn't even mention 5 years. When I called, they were acting clueless and said the website doesn't mention anything! Really? At least Coloplast in the US states 10 years, and I called and confirmed that.
