Fourth implant. Titan (covered by warranty) or AMS 700 - LGX (paid)

A few days ago the Titan stopped working after fifteen years and three months. I activated it and heard a click. Since then, when I have pressed five or six times, the pump has collapsed as if I had completely activated the prosthesis. Luckily, days before it failed, I was at the doctor's office and he was able to see the prosthesis activated. We discussed some aspects about the fourth implant when the Titan failed. Today the fourth implant will be shortly.

Aspects we deal with.
INFECTION
Little to say. He tried to calm me down. No matter how much he explains to me, he talks to me about protocols. It is always a risk and with a fourth implant...

PUMP TUBES
With the prosthesis activated, the doctor considered that the pump tubes are a little noticeable. He will try to correct this aspect, although I never gave it much importance.

SIZE
He told me that there is no loss in size and that a larger prosthesis is always expected to be implanted.

PENIS BASE DENT
He will try to correct it.

PENIS ANGULATION
My penis points at four o'clock. I told him if it was possible to improve the angulation. He told me that it can be improved. He told me something about the suspensory ligament. But I can't explain it because I don't remember it well.

TITAN OR AMS - 700 GLX?
I will address this point in a separate post because it is the one that interests me the most.

Good luck brother, keep us in the loop. By now we have no advice but to be hopeful for best outcome. The Lgx. Does shrink more then the others ie if you love your shower you might want to stick with another.

I'll go with another titan simply because is covered. Make no sense to pay for a lgx just because it provide a better flaccid looking. Is your flaccid been of any problem in the last 15 years? I guess your decision should depend on that. Remember also that titans are more indicated for peyronies instead of lgx that has more flexible cylinders.

With this being said since you have been implanted pretty young wuold you like to share how has been life with an implant in the last 15 years? Were you single, dating etc?

I am happy with the Titan, but if it is true that with the AMS 700 - GLX you can gain size, I want the AMS even if I have to pay for it.
The disease that removed quite a lot of size and maybe a little because of the infection of the second implant, but in this case very little. It is an issue that has bothered me since then and if I can regain some size, even if it is little, with the AMS 700 GLX, I will take the opportunity.
The doctor assumed that I would have the Titan implanted again because I have it under warranty. I told him if it was possible to implant an AMS 700 GLX in my case and he said yes, but that I would have to pay for it. In my case I will gain a little length because I do not have fibrotic corpora cavernosa, but I will have to activate it one hour a day for the first year, that is, I will have to cycle. He told me that the AMS is more natural in a flaccid state, but that the Titan gives more rigidity.
With the AMS 700 GLX, is there a real gain in length? would I get more length than the length I have with the Titan activated? is it worth going from the Titan to the AMS 700 GLX? I am interested in everyone's opinion and especially those who have had an AMS 700 GLX implanted and if there is anyone who has had both implants, all the better.

I have had both the Titan and the AMS LGX, nothing wrong with the Titan when it worked, revision to the AMS, absolutely love it, I hope it will last 20 yrs but if it doesn't I will get another AMS.

How old were you when you got your first implant?

He was just 30 years old. What problem do you have with the malleable prosthesis? I didn't like the malleable one, but if the doctor had implanted it correctly, I would have had it for a while. But the implant was short and the glans bent like the nose of a concord plane. For me the Titan is better, but the bad thing is that it breaks down and has to be replaced by another Titan or another model. I am now in this dilemma: Titan or AMS 700 GLX? In addition to the great concern about the infection issue that keeps me up at night.

When they say the AMS grows it doesn’t mean your final outcome will be bigger. It simply means that in a flaccid state it will shrink back and be more flaccid than the Titan. If properly sized Eid and Perito say in their videos that the implant will fill the space that you have in your cavernosa.
