ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

I think it does sound like low testosterone levels.
I had many of the same symptoms and my blood tests proved it.
I recommend self injecting testosterone weekly.

Hi Sounds like your testosterone is down, but before you go charging into injections, there could be other ways, think first we are what we eat, so eat healthy be healthy, if you get a blood test ask for a full blood test so you know how its doing, get your cholesterol checked but keep off statins, get out and start some kind of exercise, get out walking and swimming, they say lifting weights is a natural way of raising you testosterone, but only use drugs for boosting testosterone as a last resort, doing this before could stop any of your own being made.

Re: Are My Soft Erections & Low Libido Caused by This?
alter,
Your symptoms can be caused by many things ... what meds are you taking?
"The most common causes are diabetes, atherosclerosis/plaque (85% of men older than 50), high cholesterol and side effects of medications. Blood Pressure meds/Diuretics and beta-blockers drugs are most commonly linked to ED. Cholesterol meds (statins) lower testosterone and DHEA."
A lack of nocturnal (night time) erections are a general sign of poor blood flow ... "low T" can be confirmed by a simply blood test. Once you have the results, speak to your Doctor about your issues. Are you taking Viagra, Cialis, etc.?

Hi, Nowhard. Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention I am experiencing very low ejaculation. And last year, a uro prescribed me Clomid which he said would increase testosterone in 6 weeks. But, I took it for 2 weeks only because I read at the time that Clomid reduces T levels and I didnt feel any improvement in those 2 weeks. I think I psyched myself out from taking it further because of this. What do you think?

Re: Are My Soft Erections & Low Libido Caused by This?
Hi Found this bit for you, but did think about trying clomid, but then this is Greece and its very expensive to buy out here, but some drugs do take time to kick in, but not sure with clomid.
But Read on.
Clomiphene citrate and/or HCG do not turn off the testosterone manufacturing plant but rather turn it back on or reboot it. While some hypogonadal men require continuous use of clomiphene, for others it can be used for a 3-6 month time period and then discontinued. And, the checks and balances system is not interrupted, so there aren't the testosterone replacement side-effects which occur due to intentional or unintentional testosterone overdosing. Most interestingly, although it used to be thought that clomiphene and/or HCG only worked on young men, in the past decade or so it has been used effectively in older men too.
The 5 Main Reasons Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) May be a Good Alternative to Testosterone Replacement Therapy in Men with Low Testosterone Due to Secondary Hypogonadism:
1. Clomiphene citrate stimulates the body's own production of testosterone
2. Clomiphene citrate doesn't interfere with the body's checks and balances of testosterone
3. Clomiphene citrate comes as a pill easily administered by mouth
4. Clomiphene citrate is generic and very cheap2
5. Clomiphene citrate has little side-effects and low risk of developing these side-effects3
The 5 Main Reasons Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) is Not Usually Prescribed to Men with Low Testosterone Due to Secondary Hypogonadism:
1. Most doctors aren't aware of the efficacy and safety of clomiphene use in men
2. Most doctors think of Clomid as a "women's drug" to increase fertility
3. Clomid is FDA approved only for use in women
4. Clomid use in men is considered "off label"
5. Clomiphene citrate is now generic and really inexpensive so it's not advertised very much
Note: HCG is more commonly known and prescribed for secondary hypogonadism in men but it involves injection and is expensive, so if clomiphene works alone I think that is preferred.
So perhaps your should have gone the distance with it.
Also try this link, it reads very well and lots to read.

Nowhard, you've been like a guardian angel, providing me with vital info. I have decided to start Clomid again after all. And I'll go the extra distance of taking it for 6 - 8 weeks. Hopefully, this will increase the amount of my ejaculations and harden my erections. If you have any more info, I'd hugely appreciate it, Thanks man!

Once you start taking "T" injections it is my understanding you will have to take them for life. I have been taking the now for about 5 years. I give myself an injection every two weeks. My dr told me there an unusually large number of men with this problem, they are not sure why the increase lately. I have a son in his 30s just started injections so it is at all age levels.

I was never prescribed T injections, just Clomid.
