A question for the guys that had some erectile function left before they were implanted.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

Implants can be a life saver and the decision to implant if there is TOTAL ED, after a prostatectomy for example is pretty clear.

My questions are for the implanted guys who still had SOME erectile function left before they were implanted.

:?: Even though your pre-implant erections were sub-par, do you miss the organic erections enough that you have any regrets about getting implanted when you did? Did you wish you had continued with shots a bit longer?

Did the lack (or severe reduction) of the feeling of the stirring, swelling, engorgement of your penis change the way you experience desire, being turned on, getting horny?

I think it’s time to get implanted but I also know I will be giving up what’s left of my (not good enough for penetration without a shot) erections. I want to make sure I’ve considered this.

I went into this surgery with the ability to get an erection, i just had to use a cock ring to solidify the erection. It was hard enough for penetration but it was still soft and malleable.
I can still feel an erection if i get excited. your head and under the shaft still get hard, Its a different blood supply. So yes even though i don't experience the whole shaft getting engorged with blood. I still know when i am getting excited so to say.
Fuck those shots. Id rather tape 2 popsicle sticks to my dick then use those shots ever again.
I don't need any type of erection to get going. I know i want to fuck and i just inflate and fuck. What really puts me in the mood is knowing no matter what my dick will be as hard as a diamond drilled from the core of the earth. and that alone makes me stress free and wanting to have sex.

like just imagine, you can have sex and not have a care in the world. Oh you pre-ejaculated? doesn't matter keep having sex, it doesn't matter.

I do miss the organic feeling of my dick. When its not inflated it feels completely abnormal. its a skin covered empty shaft lmao. Also they pump takes some time to get used to. As so does the tubing.

But i would do it all again in a heart beat. Whenever i have to get a revision i thought about getting the malleable. But i don't know if its possible because of my large size. Ill stick with the IPP.
And being from NYC myself i had dr joel Hillelsohn do my surgery. and he was the best.

Totally agree with vitallssk! The benefits FAR out weigh any ability I had left. Yes shots worked for me but were never consistent. I still wake up with a pretty firm woody at night or early in the morning at times. After a year it just becomes your new dick. Seems I’ve forgotten what it felt like before! Only I never ever have to worry anymore about any type of ED!! Do it again in a heart beat and would have passed on the shots if I knew then what I found out after implant!

Sending you a PM. I’d like to talk with you about how you decided on him and what that experience was like.

Great question.

I miss nothing about my partial ED.

In fact, pills were still working when I got the implant. But I had headaches and diarrhea with pills as a side effect.

This implant is MAGIC.

I can be half asleep, fully drunk and exhausted as f*** but a few pumps and I am back to Superman level of fucking.

Nothing to worry about.

I can, now, focus on the game and watching TV, and anything else but “hey, will my dick get up and stay up?”

I wish I had the implant during my 20s. I would’ve never been embarrassed about Premature ejaculation.

I can go multiple rounds now.

I’ll make a separate post about this also.

Couldn’t be happier.

I had full blown ED for 3 years after losing my prostrate. medications and radiation followed suit. I was 1-5 to 2 inches at best during that time. I'm over 2 years in, 6L and 6 G and it feels like my original equipment.Sure it took time to heal and whatever issues I had during early recovery everything resolved itself including floppy head. Ever since I was taken off cancer meds these past two months I'm chasing my wife 7 days a week and I'm not kidding either. I had no other recourse and happy as ever that I was implanted.

For anyone who has not yet maximized their dosage with shots, they are limited to three times per week to minimize the risk of fibrosis or priapism, a frustrating cap for some but crucial for preserving penile health. The worst-case scenario with implants? During corpora dilation, the surgeon could accidentally damage your urethra, forcing an immediate halt to the procedure and sending you home with a catheter and urine bag for recovery. Post-healing, severe fibrosis might complicate or prevent future implant surgeries entirely, potentially leaving you with permanent urethral damage and a lifelong reliance on a catheter. This could also result in the 100% loss of sexual and masturbation pleasure. However, if the surgery succeeds, an implant can transform your sex life. Yet, the risk remains, losing all remaining sexual and masturbation function is a possibility, along with significant urinary dysfunction.Given these high stakes, shots deserve reconsideration until you reach the maximum effective dose and they stop working. Despite its frequency limitations, ICI remains a less invasive path to satisfaction for many.

I do not miss my partial ED at all. Before surgery, there were many times that my partial ED led to embarassing times in bed.

I tried taking pills but all they did was gave me side effects, and still unreliable.

Now, I can get erect in less than 20 seconds and stay that way for as long as I want. Sex drive also went up because of this.

I'm not implanted and also very interested in the responses. But I do think that when push comes to shove, other people's opinions may be helpful but the only person who can 100% be trusted to look out for you is you.

Clearly the threshold varies vastly for different people. For example if pills worked okay for me, even with side effects, I would never consider implant. At most I would try shots. It gets played down as an outpatient procedure, but still implant is a pretty drastic surgery and full recovery is tough and can take 6 months to a year for some guys. Implants have some pretty serious side effects too, such as the inability to change your mind and go backwards if alternate treatments become available (see for example some people with serious ED suddenly getting erections on PT141), penile tissue atrophy over time, the likelihood of repeated surgeries over your lifetime if you're younger, infection risks, loss of size, the presence of palpable tubing and pump, reservoirs crowding your abdominal cavity that are often just left there upon revisions, and so on. I personally would do it only as a last resort.

The implant is your gift for sexual life, never regretted, am pretty pissed off, not having done it many years earlier!!!

Taking pills or shots always needs a kind of planing, never any spontaneous sex, when you have the "chance".
With an implant you're always ready too go, your self-confidence rockets to the sky, your get horny, just by knowing, you can fuck any girl anytime, anywhere and how log you want.

Don't loose time, don't miss opportunities, don't mess around with shots or pills, get your implant and start fucking, really, the best you can do.
