Everything I've read, seen and experienced myself is a vertical cut along what many men, myself included, could identify as sort of a 'seam' in their nutbag down the middle. A vertical incision will hide the scar.
I'm interested as to why your incision is horizontal, any idea? Was it to facilitate removal of the first implant?
Like PowerliftingDad, my scrotal incision was also horizontal. It healed remarkably fast and the scar is essentially invisible. My urologist explained that some surgeons simply have a personal preference for one or the other. the skin stretches so much, that it doesn't really make a difference. Today, about 10 months after my surgery, nobody would ever notice my scrotal incision unless they already knew it was there and actively went looking for it.

Very happy that natural engorement is still present.
My natural erection is about 1/2"shorter. I am hopeful that with cycling and useage it will return.
Hey, PowerliftingDad! I'm curious to know how your long-term recovery is going? Like you, I still enjoy natural engorgement of the glans when aroused. Not every guy is so fortunate. Thank you for sharing your journal with the rest of us. I'm convinced it helps other men who are struggling with the decision. By sharing our stories, we help other men to be more fully informed and to help set reasonable recovery expectations. Whether the topic is prostate cancer treatment or ED related penile implant, I believe that normalizing the discussion is incredibly important.
And as an aside: I'm not so much a power-lifter as I am a thank-goodness-I-have-an-excellent-personal-trainer-to-kick-my-lazy-ass-lifter. LOL!

Wow, amazing story! I saw that in your first implant, the tips were well short of your glans... I wonder if that helped you to retain as much blood flow as you did. Where are the new tips after your revision? Are they halfway into your glans as most are? Honestly I wish mine were much less far into the glans.
