He can, chances are they want him to heal first and make sure the infection is fully cleared before trying again,. I've seen people go quiet some time before being allowed to be reimplanted again. I think the typical time frame is usually between 3 and 6 months.

Unless an implant is placed after removal, the corpora immediately begin to close and scar internally.

This is 100% correct however i'm surprised your surgeon didnt discuss of ways of minimizing this scaring tissue from forming while your waiting. Aggressive use of vacuum devices during recovery can slow/prevent the build up of scar tissue in the corpera. There was one user on here who was given and i quote a "medevil looking stretching device" that they were told to use constantly over their recovery period between implants, i think they went on for about 9 months or so and when it was time to get reimplanted they had lost no length at all and successfully managed to keep the scaring tissue to a minimum. There are options... i would definately have this chat with your surgeon and if they say nothing can be done get a second a opinion.

Also just to clear it up, a revision is anything from replacing the whole device because it went faulty to moving/changing something on the original device. infection rates seem to dramatically rise with anything beyond the first implant.

The second implant after a first short implant caused innumerable problems: bleeding, urinary retention, bladder catheterization..... After a few months the doctor explanted it due to an infection????. I don't think it was an infection, but that's what the doctor said. I used VED daily, cialis, stretching...and did not lose size. At 8 months I had a Titan implanted.
At 15-16 curvature, hourglass
At 27 Peyronie's diagnosis
2006 malleable AMS incorrectly implanted
2008 EXCEL MENTOR. Infection? It was explanted
2009 TITAN 18 CM
2025 TITAN 20 CM +2

How did worked out for you at the end? Did you lost size after third implanatation?

This world
Size—— its a tough calculation. My youthful 20 something size was 7.25, I remember this because ( no internet back then just playboy mags) I thought 8” was an average size and hoped and prayed I could grow or stretch to be at least “ average “ enough though in college I would routinely get bottoming out complaints. So. When My wife and I broke the fuck out of my cock in my late 40s there was a size, 2”. And the dr had me on all kinds of viagra ( very new and expensive) and years passed and I got to 5.5 for about ten years sad and bent and peyronies bent w major hour glass. Dr want and implant then but I can’t afford it.reigning on lots of boner drugs that were increasingly making me sick with long side effects and the hassles of drugs and timing hassles w wife she began to withdraw along w her rough menopause. Our sexual lives faltered.
Retiring came along and my wife was no longer interested in intimacy but still honored even for solo activities. Talked to dr. And got implanted I was 6.25 then. Medicare pade to get my life back! A and after 6 months and 2 surgeries I was 6.50 and a year+ later I was 6.75 where I still am after four years. I cycle atlest twice a week now. And have switched to men for very occasional companionship. So size thats tough but happy to have gained back some of my original size.
