Next Tuesday I'll be starting a job with FedEx, which will require some heavy lifting and pulling. I'm nervous because of the implant, although it's my understanding that many of you are active in the gym, bench press, or are active military. So, to those guys I ask, is heavy lifting and pulling anything I should be worried about? I would hate to have to turn down the job over such concerns.
Thanks!

It's uncomfortable but just wear loose clothes and you'll be fine

How long ago was the surgery? Isn’t it okay to do heavy lifting after a few months?
Also you had hard flaccid right? I have it as well. Does the implant alleviate all of the HF symptoms? Also how long did it take you to fully recovery?

Procedure was done this past July; I'm completely healed up. Yes, they say heavy lifting is fine, I just want to hear from people who have actual experience with this.
Are you sure you have HF? That's my first question. Yes, it alleviates all HF symptoms; HF is unrelenting corporeal contraction; the corpora are removed during penile implantation, thus no more contraction. By "recover" do you mean heal from the procedure? It was fast. I have no pain with inflation anymore, either. I'm 7 months post-op.

Thanks, wolfpacker! I don't have to worry about the reservoir bursting or anything like that?

Yes for sure I have HF. Have had it for nearly a decade. Can manage with pills but it’s not ideal. How was your erogenous sensation with HF? Most people report reduced pleasurable sensation like myself. Has that returned as well?
I guess by recovered I mean when were you allowed to exercise again, have sex, etc?

Your surgery was in July right? Reservoir should be pretty firmly in place by now

For sure about the reservoir. I wasn't told much about such things when I was discharged. Is there, like, a prescribed weight limit to how much you should push and pull? I just have this uncomfortable image in my head that pressure will cause the reservoir to break. Have you ever heard of anything like that?
Thanks for the response, by the way.

I've never heard of a reservoir breaking, ever. In the early days post-surgery you just wanna chill so the reservoir remains right where the surgeon put it, and your abdominal muscles don't squeeze and force it out into some other spot it's not supposed to be in. But by now you should have a web of healed up scar tissue holding it in place.
