I'm an engineer and came up with the exact same calculations as you. I do need to point out though that in Clavell's video he shows the CX and Titan to have a circumference of 6.5 cm and 7 cm respectively which translate to 20.7mm diameter for the CX and 22.3mm diameter for the Titan. Remember the cylinders can expand beyond the manufacturer published nominal values if you over inflate them. I went to my docs office and inflated both cylinders. The CX cylinder reservoir was filled to 100ml and I was able to inflate it to Clavell's published value of 20.7mm but the Titan cylinder reservoir was filled to 75 ml and I was only able to achieve a diameter of 21mm. Using Clavell's values and the two cylinder side by side equation of (pi*diameter+2*diameter) you get a minimum theoretical total circumference of two side by side cylinders to be 4.2 inches for the CX and 4.5 inches for the Titan.

But when the corpora gets dilated, the docs use a 12mm dilator in most cases so you typically would have a lot of leftover corporal tissue. I would postulate that as long as those tissues remain healthy you would be able to maintain your original girth even gain some in some cases. Once tissue thinning occurs over time for a host of different reasons (for example the leftover corporal tissue thins out due to lack of peripheral blood supply, remember the main artery gets obliterated) only then the two device would start making a small difference in diameter. But they would both result in significant loss of girth if someone was for example at 6 inch girth.

Are you saying there is another video Clavell did that states the cylinders as different than what’s in the one I did my drawing and calculations from? I’m a little confused you said you came up with the exact same calculations but then stated you needed to point out his video stated something different?

There is so much more that determines the outcome of the size of your penis after the implant. Frank, As I said I can't confirm or guarantee anything. But I'll say once again that if you have good amount leftover corporal tissue chances are high that you'll be able to maintain your girth. I know we are all worried about our length and girth. But if switching to AMS makes you feel more comfortable and let's say you lose just a small amount of girth, would that be a big price to pay at the end of the day?

I know we are all worried about our length and girth. But if switching to AMS makes you feel more comfortable and let's say you lose just a small amount of girth, would that be a big price to pay at the end of the day?

thanks sambalamba, my replacement from titan to cx is now decided. also because my replacement is due to oversizing and the tips being too far forward in the glans, they are 5.1 or 2 in circumference, even if I lose 1 cm of circumference I don't care, what matters to me is that it is correctly sized and the tips are comfortable, if I obtained with cx 5" of circumference losing only 01/02" I would put my signature on it, for the length I don't think I will lose, because already from deflated/flaccid it is 5.6" without pressure on the pubic bone

Before implant my girth was 6 inches. With ams I was about 5.3 inches. With titan I am about 5.6 inches.

Thought I was sure I wanted a Titan because of my size. There is a high volume doctor that I saw but he only does AMS. He is a high volume implanter and trains other doctors, done over 7000 implants. Another member recently used him with great results and looks like he is keeping his 5.5” girth at present. I know everyone gets different results but would like to hear from you men that kept 6” or greater girth with a AMS CX?

A lot of guys on FT say its only a little bit of loss and its better to have a working Dick, that stays hard and can get hard when you want it, for as long as you want it or she needs it. That is fantastic and i cannot argue with that. Us Men that's still on the back side have questions and concerns, that's why we ask questions. We just want the best outcome when we do get implanted and make sure we have made best decision based on as much information as we can get. A lot of times that is not from the in office visit with a Doctor. Ive found more information on FT or High Volume Implant Doctors videos on you tube than i have in all the years i have battled ED and the office visit with doctors.

As far as I can understand, what determines the circumference is the tunica albuginea and not ams or coloplast, the fact that with coloplast it seems fuller is because it has wider cylinders, in the end the implant inflates as long as the tunica albuginea allows it, the 2 ams cylinders reach 5.1" by adding 1/2" of tissue if you have a tunica albuginea which allows a dilation of 1.5" you could even get 6.6" of circumference with ams cx, this is what I understood from Clavell's video

Hi Frank, how are you? So the Titan implant didn't work because of the oversize of the implant? Can I ask you how much you spent on the operation with Antonini? From what I've read, his post-operative care wasn't the best!!! Basically, when you use the implant, do you feel pain??!!! Is the glans cold or hot??? I would also like to have the implant and I'm looking into it!!! They recommended Dr. Andrea Cocci to me for a question of price and post-operative care!! He practically always uses almost AMS LGX
