Both AMS CX, first one had a pinhole leak in left cylinder less than a week after surgery, revision was 2 months later and it worked fine for about 6 months and failed so here we are 13 months later getting this revision which hopefully will be one that lasts a good 15 years. He did penoscrotal on me because the first two were penoscrotal, he placed the pump further back and gave a little more length to the tubing so it could settle down. I think he did that for better comfort and the previous MS pump was riding forward of my right testicle which made it easier to use but also would cause a little discomfort at times.

Thanks man. Wishing long lasting longevity to you new device. You're brave to have picked up the Tenacio. It looks awesome. Unfortunately I couldn't gather courage to go with the Tenacio with it being such a new device. Anyhow I'm 90 percent leaning towards the Titan anyways but the Tenacio did make me re-consider for a few moments.

The Tenacio pump pumps more fluid and recovers faster with the new valve system. The landmarks are much easier to find and the sides of the block have indents to make it easier to hold. I think it'll be a much better pump than the MS. But when I start pumping it I'm sure I'll find out what I like or dislike, it might pump me up too fast...lol

Yeah right now two days out the swelling ramped up a bit like the other surgeries. Not as black and blue I guess that's because of the drain, but he did place the pump further back so that might account for some of the swelling. Only problem is I need to pull down on the pump but can't because I can't get any kind of grip on it with how swollen it is. And I know when I go in next week to be shown how to work the pump ( I don't understand this part because it's not my first one ) he's gonna pull down on it and probably send me through the roof. But I'll find out, just waiting on seeing how much different the Tenacio is compared to the MS on pumping. After the meeting it'll be pumping it up 2 or 3 times a day for 30 minutes to an hour each time, I'm sure that's going to be fun as well.... See photos.

Thanks for the journal update... not many people have the Tenacio pump yet so your insight as a previous MS pump patient is very useful.

The swelling/bruising of your scrotum looks pretty normal at this stage post op. Do you have before and after pics of your penis - interested to know if you have swelling/bruising there as well.

Did you lose length/girth with all these revisions?

Oh I know, I wash my hands before and after with hibiclense like the Dr said to do before touching the area. I've only touched the area around the incision this time to take the picture. Believe me after all I've been through an infection is not what I want.
