Im a year and a half from being implanted by Dr Hakky. Like you I had PD and ED. My preop experience was quite like yours. I found him to be easy to work with and he explained everything well. Do to the PD he went with IP rather than PS incision which was and is fine with me. I did lose about 1” of length and about 1/2” girth but thats ok with me. I have a strong functional penis now. My girth was about 6-3/8” now its 5-7/8” which allows me to hve longer sex without wearing my wife out.
I did have a hematoma that took some time to heal but I was sexually active at 5 weeks. He wanted me to activate at a week, if I remember correctly, but I was delayed by the hematoma.
One thing I will warn on, make sure you watch your drain carefully, mine plugged and I had bad swelling. I didnt know that there was an issue. Make sure you understand how much drainage you should expect to see.
Im pretty impressed with Dr Hakky and would recommend him and staff to anyone getting this surgery, especially with those that have PD or an injury

Hey there, a few questions for you:

1. how did the hematoma manifest?
2. Where was it and what did it feel like?
3. Did it impede your testicles from moving freely?
4. Did it hurt?

I was just implanted by Dr Hakky Feb 18th. Penoscrotal revision surgery for 2 prior failures. He numbs the area pretty well that will last a few days, he does install a drain that you can remove or come to the office to remove. After a week you come in and they teach you how to use the pump. At two weeks you come in for a wound check and again at 4 weeks. At the 1 week when they teach you how to use the pump you're expected to pump it fully and hold for 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a day. After surgery you're expected to pull down on the pump to help keep it down in a good position. My surgery was Tuesday and I get to remove the drain Saturday and then take a shower ( back facing shower only.) I'm icing 2 to 3 times a day to help with swelling but it's not bad. I took the pain pills the first day so I could sleep off the anthesia. I'm two days out and right now I only have discomfort from the swelling and a little on the right side I think where he placed the reservoir but it's just discomfort no real pain for me. Hope yours goes as smoothly as mine.
