Day 3 after implantation the pain is brutal, it’s giving me anxiety attacks.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

Copilot, some folks take more pain meds to kill the pain. Example - when I would get a kidney stone, it would take two Percocet just to take the pain down to a level 2 from 10. My wife could take one Percocet and it would knock her out for hours.

Good luck controlling the pain,

Absolutely yes. Being inflated is probably contributing to most of your pain, but it's important to keep the space open. When does your Dr want you to start cycling?

How much are you icing? That helps a great deal, your first 2 weeks are the worst but you should notice a slight improvement by day 3-4. What type did you get? Size, etc...

Yes, there is less pain when deflated but at your stage in this journey, everything is hurting.

Hang in there, it gets better every day.

Ice really is your go-to to relieve swelling for the first few days - some people ice even longer - whatever works for you. After that, a heating pad helps increase comfort and speeds healing, warm showers help too.
