Hi all, had Ed for around 15 yrs likely cause heart meds. Viagra etc makes me ill and has no effect on my erections( or lack of them ) Just decided to try a pump. have found a reasonable Uk supplier who offers support after purchase. Opinions please Batt operated of hand operated or no difference in the two. Need to get this right as limitted funding.

I have been pumping for about 1.5 years with great results, but it takes time to get good results. I have the Encore system with both pumps and have used both of them. The battery pump is the one I use most. The battery pump keeps a more constant vaccum and if you need a little more vaccum just push the switch. I hope this helps

Been using the same pump for 5 years now -- and it is the Encore battery version -- a bit battered now with the battery cover having to be taped down and once I had to resolder the switch wire -- but still running just fine. I had to buy the extended/larger tube for it after about 6 months (so that's an extra $50 or so) since the standard was getting too small. It is made for the Encore Pump so is a perfect fit. Also the standard Encore tube has a nice quick turn and release sleeve that goes over the main pump tube. That is really nice to soften the SNAPPPP of the rings -- but it can barely fit two rings -- so that can be an issue. So you may hope to have that nice 'problem' when you do some serious pumping. Almost all pumps come with a 'standard' size tube which is max 7.5" and maybe 1.75" ID (and the 7.5 may be obstructed a bit down to 7 or 7.25 by the pump nozzle thingy). Expect BIG things when pumping where you will stretch beyond normal sizes -- at least while in the tube.
Oh one more thing, with ANY standard pump that using rings -- they almost all come with crappy silicone rings that won't last long -- so you are likely to spend another 2x$23 on a couple of Osbon rings (the pink ones are really durable -- just had one break after 3 years use -- not bad).
ONE MORE thing you might like to get the penile foam sleeve too -- but only if you think you will be using the pumped erection For Good and Real Use. That's another $20 each... (not sure exact price these days) and is not needed for just rehabbing.
In fact if just casual rehabbing you don't really need any of the extra do-dads ...

I was fortunate enough to be given a Vitality manual penis pump from Agusta Medical Supply about a year ago. I found it extremely easy to use and very effective. List price on the web site was $199. I recently moved and somehow misplaced my Vitality during the move.

I have a quality "sex shop" pump system but it is cumbersome to use and I am going on vacation so I wanted a more compact system to easily be packed and stowed away. I read some good reports on the Encore Impoaid so I ordered it from Amazon for $79, including shipping. However, I found the Encore to be more difficult to put together, load the band, and use the pump handle. I also found that the pump seems less effective when creating the vacuum and more difficult to remove when ready.

In my opinion, the Vitality is a for superior product. However, for the price, the Encore is much more affordable and will do in a pinch. I do hope, however, that my Vitality eventually shows up.

Thanks for your replys. Just ordered a pump from a UK supplier who says money back if it does not live up to its claim. Will have it next WED. Thanks by the way to those of you who have posted tips on using a pump, did not understand the rehab aspect of pumping. Thought I could buy it and away straight off. Will post on my experience with my new pump in a few weeks. thanks again.

I pumped for 2 years, after pills and injections no longer worked . It was pure H taking the rings ( I had to use two) off. And pumping made my dick head too hard. So now I'm bionic.
