A lot of guys will recommend the super-high volume surgeons that perform hundreds of implants a year. If you feel comfortable with one of them, great. But studies have shown that surgeons that perform a few implants a month have similar quality outcomes to the ultra high volume docs, so they should be an option too, particularly if an ultra high volume guy is not possible do to distance or insurance issues. On the other hand, doctors that rarely perform implants - a few a year - should be avoided if at all possible.

Thank you guys for the input. I’m in Atlanta so I hope to have an appointment with Hakky in April. I want him to do a Doppler and check everything before I talk to the wife. We have been dealing with it for about 4 years but up until know I have used the pills and shots to deal with it. But I can tell that it’s becoming less effective. I so want the dependability and spontaneity of a solid member again. My whole life I have had awesome and fun sex. It has been my got too hobby and chosen form of entertainment. Thanks again guys.

I’ve had an online consult with Dr. Tariq Hakky. He spoke like a bro, no snobbish rubbish. Loved his consult.

If you are in the Atlanta area, Dr. Charles Kaplan is also awesome if you want to hear two perspectives. Good luck!

Good Luck! From feedback here Hakky is one of the best docs around.
And I have to agree with LetoMan, ask the doc which implant is best for you. There are pros and cons to each.

I will most definitely be taking his advice to heart. I like the ease of the malleable. But thinking a ipp would give me an opportunity to retain/gain some sizes while I can still run the pump and do a malleable at a future revision. Any thoughts on that concept ?

I think you are overthinking it. Get the implant you want now, worry about later later.

There are reasons the vast majority of dudes (and doctors) go with IPPs. I don’t get what you mean by the “ease” of a malleable. The ipp pumps up in about 30 seconds. It’s not that complicated.

Going to Dr. Hakky and asking IPP versus malleable is like asking a Mercedes salesman to help you pick between a Mercedes and a Toyota. We’re grown-ups, if the Mercedes craps out, we’ll just get a new one. A revision or two or three won't kill you brother and you're very lucky as you live in Georgia and young pro-bro Hakky’s got your back for life.

Kind of nervous to talk to him. My GP is the one that started me on the pills 5-6 years ago. I went online for the shots once that stopped working. They started to hourglass me about 2 months ago. I stopped them then and it looks like the hourglass is getting better. I should have went to a professional the moment I started having troubles. I just stay so busy and was looking for the fastest solution. No more of that. It’s time to talk to the Mercedes guy. lol. Thanks for the feed back everyone.
