There has been a study for Peyronies Disease where these penile traction devices have shown improvement in correcting curvature and restoring length. There is currently a study going on for post prostate surgery restoration of penile length.
My question is - Who on here has used or uses one of these devices? Do you think they really work? The studies show some promise.
I'm also wondering whether to offer them on our marketplace - but I need to sort out the good from the bad.
If anyone has info on these, I'd love to hear it.

Re: Penile Traction Devices
Once I knew I was going to have the implant, I purchased the bungee cord with the leg strap off of EBay. It uses a silicone cup that you put on like a condom. I spent about $20 on it. I had lost about 3/4" from my longest. Using this, I regained about 1/2"" within less than a month. It was reasonably comfortable and I was able to wear it to work during the day without detection.

Re: Penile Traction Devices
I have been using an X4 Lab traction (extender) device (cost $250) since May of last ytear. I did not get it to improve my ED or Peyronies, but rather to increase the length of my member. Not only have I increased my erect length (I had a below average size) by 1/2 inch, it has also helped my ED. Unfortunately, it requires a lot of time and dedication to be effective. I average about 5 hours a day, six days a week. The straps or noose used to hold you in can be quite uncomfortable. I recently added a VacExtender modification kit ($89) which replaces the strap/noose with a silicone sheath held on by vacuum, significantly more comfortable. I also just ordered a leg strap to be used in conjunction with the VacExtender I found you can get an all in Vacextender similar to my current set up from Autoextender for $139.

Re: Penile Traction Devices
I tried the Adro Penis – Anyone else tried it?
I purchased it here in the UK cost about £150, supplied by the same company that I got my Medical Grade Pump from.
It was marketed as a device to help restore length and girth after Prostate surgery and for the treatment of Peyronies. I wont go into the details of how you use it here as it’s a bit involved, although if anyone is interested please just give me a shout. I found it easy enough to use after a couple of tries, however the hours I needed to wear it (3 hours then 6, eventually working up to eight hours a day – over 3 months), not so easy especially as I work full-time. I managed about 2 weeks or so then gave up, a lot of money for two weeks.
It was pretty painful to use most times but it did seem to do what it said on the tin – I did have an increase in length of about 1/4".
If I decide to go down the implant route I may use it again to gain as much as I can but for the time being it’s staying in the box.

Re: Penile Traction Devices
Traction and hanging weights both work. Hanging weights tends to be more practical with less time needed per day. Traction devices can vary greatly in price as well. From $30 up to $600+ from what I have seen. To a degree, you do "get what you pay for". However, most of the traction/extender devices appear to be made by the same company (surprise, surprise!?!) and sold under different name brands.

Would you post a link or photo of the hanging systems you recommend? Are you talking about the 12 oz. steel ball? or something else?
I would really like to include an introductory level course on penile lengthening for the guys who have lost length through atrophy.
Thanks
Paul

Hey Paul. jn1421/Idahodave and I are working on something for the guys here. He's got a lot of useful experience and knowledge on using weight hanging as part of his Erectile Dysfunction treatment program. I'm talking about using an actual hanging device that attaches (clamps onto) the penis. SO, some men who have implants will automatically be disqualified from being able to use this option. As the hanger could damage their implant. However, for men who do not have an implant, this is a non surgical option. There are not going to be any promises made regarding effectiveness of weight hanging for ED treatment for obvious reasons. Like I told Dick via PM, please just hold tight for the time being. I'm waiting on jn1421 and Genome to return from their road trip so we can start putting our ideas together for the benefit of as many men as possible. The three of us had lunch together in my city yesterday and it was a great time.
Re: Penile Traction Devices
Hey, I developed Peyronies Disese two and half years after my PCa surgery RALP at IU School of Medicine at Indianapolis. I was using cialis, VED and injetions for erections. The Peyronies started August of 2013 extreme pain when I injected for erections and upward curve to my penis. I was sent to Dr. L. Levine at Rush College of Medicine, Chicago Illinois as he is some kind of Peyronies specialist. Dr. Levine wanted to put in an implant but my local uro and I wanted other options. He did agree to place me on his verapmil therapy 12 injections over a course of 24 weeks, I take pentox tablets three times a day, 3000 mg of L-arginne and prescribed penile traction device to wear at least three hours a day for five days a week.
My penile curve was 55% upwards and now almost completing the therapy my curve is only 20% upward. The traction device and injections really made a big improvement in the curve but my erection quality is not as good as prior to the Peyronies. I use bimix solution and a soft constriction device for intercourse and works OK not good for all positions. My erection quality again really is not that great. However if you did not have erection issues prior the therapy most likely works well. Xioflex is the treatment of chose now but is really expensive and most ins will not cover it a present. My ins would not BC/BS Federal. My extender device costed about 300 dollars and does stretch you; for me about half an inch in length and increased some girth. Howver after PCa surgery everything got smaller so bascially back to pre PCa surgery levels. Trust this is helpful to someone going through the same issues.

I have a couple quick questions if you don't mind answering them I'd really appreciate it.
Did Peyronies affect your stretched flaccid length negatively, for example before Peyronies was your flaccid longer than post Peyronies?
Did traction help lengthen your stretched flaccid length (which would be optimal for a man wanting a larger implant)
How big was your plaque in millimeters?
