Cleared to start cycling and bonking less than 3 weeks post-op

Postby Doggedly_positive » Tue May 06, 2025 12:03 am

Had my follow-up yesterday at 20 days post op where I was told that everything was healing really well and I'm possibly 2 weeks ahead of the average healing time, with no swelling now.
Started cycling last night to maximum pressure and left it for 30-45 minutes. I tried Perito's THE Exercise for a while before hopping into bed and having the first proper bonk for ages

It was slightly uncomfortable, but felt sooooo good!

Keeping it inflated on max for some hours today as I want to eventually get the girth increase that's claimed for this device. Currently at 5", but hoping to get the 46 mm width that is claimed for these cylinders.

After 3 weeks of it, I'm getting used to walking round with a hard-on and am no way ashamed of the bulge in my jeans. No body shaming for me.

Strong evidence that early or even immediate post-op inflation is well tolerated and helps to maintain size or even increase it.

Great news Dog, keep bonking! I'm still finding PIV sex a bit hit and miss but usually pleasurable enough that I'm happy to keep going as long as I can. And if I manage to orgasm it's a bonus :D. I'm definitely finding the cycling and Perito'ing is paying off but it's very incremental progress.

p.s. I'm also learning to carry my new bulge proudly, hoping it will be noticed ;). And my wife seems to appreciate me naked more often these days .

The doctor cleared you for sex? At 3 weeks?
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. Surgery scheduled for Coloplast Genesis 5/19/25

Glad to see you're also doing well.

We had our second go last night, and despite the discomfort, I had my first orgasm since the RALP 7 months ago!
It was different from the usual feeling - more of a calm wave of euphoria instead of the "violent" sudden ejaculation sensation, although as the discomfort lessens, things may evolve.

I suppose one positive slant is less messy clean up afterwards. Trying to see the bright side here 8-) Another bonus is that I just went for the money shot without guilt or shame, knowing that I could carry on afterwards to help my wife get there too. She was quite impressed with that ability :D

Thanks Chuck. Yes, everyone's different. I've always been a fast healer and the surgeon was very pleased with progress.
The infrapubic wound has lost the scab and is no longer red, just a silvery scar which is fading fast.
The swelling has also gone down to almost nothing, although the internal stitches have not been assimilated yet, so the scar still sits a little higher.
We usually all get there in the end.

Yes, my wife didn't believe it either, even though I'd been pestering her for a couple of weeks already.

The main thing that put her off was the snake eyes, which spooked her, but they disappeared a week ago without any trace, so I was finally in like Flynn.

When I was on the surgeon's bed being checked, he bent my pride and joy every which way an also pulled quite hard on the pump to try to pull it down from where it has lodged. His comment was that not many could have tolerated that level of manipulation at this stage.

Although it's only 3 weeks since the op, it feels like much longer, so I have a lot of sympathy for those who are having a longer recovery. It can be very uncomfortable at times and the sooner that's in the past, the better.
