Got it. In my case, low dose cialis is still working for the time being, though I’m only 3 months removed from the priapism event. I’d like to know what factors are used to determine exactly when someone needs to do the implant. For instance, many doctors encourage doing the implant immediately after the priapism, before even assessing the extent of ED that occurs in the weeks after the event.
I’m sure that’s dependent on the extent of fibrosis they observe in some sort of scan. That’s why I’d like to get scanned. If I can buy myself another 2 years of having a penis that works using pills then I could continue hoping for regenerative measures to emerge. If the scans show that fibrosis is too extensive then that would make me get the implant much sooner.
I know shrinking and further fibrosis compromise the ability to get the implant later so I will be focused on mitigating those where possible. At this point I’m trying to get a sense of what folks have experienced in terms of the rate of decline after priapism and the timing that they needed to get the implant, assuming they all ended up getting one eventually.
I'll try to be as honest as possible. I've been doing this for over a year and have a lot of experience.
There's no regenerative medicine, stem cells, or any of that crap. I'm sorry. I was hoping for that miracle cure too.
You should try the pills. They didn't work for me for a long time.
Today, they work for me in some situations.
The best thing is to find a psychologist who will listen to you and your problems and see which option is best.
There are three steps:
pills, or a ring
injections
implant.
Honesty is the best policy, especially here. Could you provide some context on your circumstances - ie cause, sudden or gradual onset, rate of decline, etc? So the pills didn’t work for you but then began to work for you? I thought it’s usually the opposite case where pills work until they don’t. If they began working it would suggest that you’re somehow getting better, which wouldn’t seem likely in a person with fibrosis.
I have a temperature of between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Because of the fear and anxiety, I couldn't function at all. Although I have a venous leak, it's mild, my main symptoms were depression and fear.
Today, I've eliminated depression, fear, and anxiety. I can have sex in some positions, but not all.
This man is probably going through the same thing. From having a 100% functional penis to not being the same, it generates emotional components in addition to the physical ones!
