Upcoming Surgery

Postby Donger200 » Thu May 15, 2025 12:46 pm

I have an upcoming surgery with Dr Amr Raheem next month, and the nerves are now starting to set in. I've been a long-time lurker of the boards here at Franktalk, and decided last year the time was right to go for a 3-piece inflatable after chatting with Dr Raheem.

Due to other circumstances, it was delayed a bit, but the time is now coming up to have the procedure, and I'm feeling really nervous about the whole thing. Is there anybody who has recently had an implant from Dr Raheem? I'd love to have a chat to just try and ease my anxiety a little.

Thanks

Donger200, you might want to repost this question in the "Implants" forum. Below is a link to a list of Dr's recommended by other forum members. You might want to search that and see if someone on the forum is familiar with Dr Raheem.

Also here is a list of questions you might want to review to see if there's anything else you'd want to think about or cover with your Dr in advance.

It is very natural to become nervous pre-op. For me it helped to think thru lists of topics and questions to ensure I had taken everything into consideration. That, and a little whiskey :)

If you put Raheem in the search bar on the implant section 9 hits come up. On the General Discussion section 6 hits come up.

That would be a good place to start. You could PM those folks. Some may not be active if the posts are older but you never know.

Thanks so much for the advice. I found another member who recently posted and PM'd them. From what I've researched, Dr Raheem has a good reputation and has been very good in his communications, as has his team. It's just that as the day gets closer, I'm questioning my decision. Thanks for the support.
